Latest: It’s now after the holiday season and nothings changed. There was a time I’d never see a single target employee and the store was clean and well stocked, lines weren’t long, so I don’t believe the understaffed excuse. Every time I step in this store I see several employees standing around. I blame management for the dysfunction.
Edit: If I could give negative stars…I get it, it’s the holiday season, I’ve worked retail at this very store during the holiday season, but there’s really no excuse for how poorly run this store is. According to the store manager long lines mean everyone loves this Target location, but as a manager, I see it as a sign of serious dysfunction. Long lines, no carts up front or in the lot, but several carts around the store full of returned items, and abandoned carts due to the long lines, constant customer complaints about pickup, that’s signs of success? It’s wild in this store. This is coming from someone who shops at at-least 3 different Target locations a day, this location is the absolute worst.
OP:This store has really gone downhill. From the poor customer service, long lines, and refusal to share bags with Shipt shoppers while they hoard them for Pickup/Driveup orders. As a Shipt shopper, this store is consistently out of meats, so many people working pick up orders or stocking, but very little available to help with customer service. The CS lines are very long and one of the girls at the desk has a terrible attitude. When bags were available, they never had any at the CS desk because it was too messy and nowhere to store them. I have to go and do a scavenger hunt for shopping carts because they’re never brought inside during the day.
I will admit the drive up process is easy, however, it takes a full 4 hours for my small orders to be ready. I’ve ordered at New Britain, Bishops corner, and Southington, same amount/type of items typically takes 1-2hrs for pickup. Read more👎👎👎.. I’ve been a regular customer at this Target location since 2018 and have always appreciated the service. However, I was very disappointed by my recent experience.
Last Friday, I placed an online order for five (5) 18-count cartons of Vital Farms eggs. I picked up my order during my break time using Target’s bagging service and didn’t have the chance to verify the contents until I got home after work.
To my surprise, I received five (5) 12-count cartons instead of 18-count, which I had paid for. I’ve attached photos for reference.
Due to a busy weekend, I contacted the store on Sunday to report this issue. Unfortunately, I was unable to get through to anyone. I called multiple departments—including customer service and the front desk—but no one answered. I’ve also attached my call log showing 12 attempted calls.
While I generally like this Target location, I must rate this experience 3 out of 5 stars: • 1 star lost for receiving the wrong items in my order. • 1 star lost for poor customer service and the lack of response to multiple call attempts.

I was in the store Tues night and asked for a Xbox Series X because online said they had 2. Guy in store says u have to order online cuz it's a promo.
I order it online and it says ready tomorrow because it was a few min after 8. I explain my situation to the pickup desk and ask if they could possibly expedite my order so I don't have to come back.
He gives me a hard no and says the orders must be picked by 1st come. I leave disappointed (which for Target seems to be the standard). Then I get home and a few minutes after I get a email saying my order is ready.
Are you serious? I would've waited had the employee gave me an idea of when it would be ready.
Instead I get a complete unwillingness for any sort of help from an employee who clearly didn't want to be dealing with me.
Fantastic way to represent your company at the main counter where you enter the store.
Then when I picked it up the next day, no one could even offer to ring out the single hdmi cord I bought while there and were totally cool with letting me go get in line behind 20 people with full carts and one item to buy.
