Store is just okay.. Employees and stacking people need to be retrained in consideration of customers...... some are actually rude and almost like they're doing you a favor . Front end cashiers and front end managers are EXCELLENT people... It's the floor employees that need to be retrained or let go. Especially in Deli they are very rude at times. Stocking should be done at night no matter what time the trucks come in. Need better organization and timing. Employees should not partially block aisles, and don't even look up or behind them when a customer is trying to reach for something. and same with out side vendors. Of course they're not as bad and you don't have too much control over their timing. This is with the Fenn Road Newington Connecticut store. One more thing floral department is wonderful too. My point is a lot of employees don't have any ambition our consideration of their be lucky to have employment and very little consideration for the customers. I think this has to be addressed with the store manager there. I'm a loyal long-time customer there. And I plan on continuing. Hopefully this will result in some changes from district manager to come into the store maybe...
Read moreThe name of this place is pho' Viet. it is in the fenn Road plaza. This little strip mall restaurants has all you want any Vietnamese Fair. The room is casual, and the service is excellent. It is one of the main features of the Pho' which is the classic custom soups of Vietnam. I Found the soup to be hot and steamy with a rich ingredients of vegetables, noodles, and the rare thin beef laced into the bowl. The broth is everything, and this bowl had it all. I can't wait to visit again and order some vermicelli with all the goodies. If you're every shopping at stop & shop or visiting the fenn rd. plaza for any reason, don't hesitate to stop in...
Read moreTheres not much to say about this plaza,, other than its anchored by a Stop & Slop, and has a standalone Mooya Burger in the parking lot. There are some other places in there for both food and retail.
I did find a dime on the sidewalk there the first time I visited, so that was a bit of good luck.
It is located straight off the offramp from CT Rt. 9, and not to far from the onramp.
Now that I know of this plaza, I might stop there more often. I had no idea it was here until I needed to visit one of the stores...
