My husband and I dropped off a diamond band to have a duplicate made on 12/10/23 . It was supposed to be ready on 12/20/23 . It was a Christmas gift. They said they would call when ready . I gave them an extra week because of the holidays called and ask if it was ready . She couldn't find our order nor my ring that she kept , after asking to call me back , said it was out having the max mold made . Give it 3 days ( Jan 6th ) they would call me to come approve the wax mold. No one called , I called on Jan 13th and we go in to look at the wax to approve. Everything was approved and we were told give it one week, that would have been Jan 20th ( no call) . I call in and ask on Jan 23rd not here yet , it'll be ready by Jan 27th , we will call you . On Jan 28th husband goes in the store and he's told it will be ready in a few days . NO call . I call on Feb.3rd and I'm told the caster has taken a 3 day vacation Feb 2nd-4th, so they cant contact them and they will call me first thing on the Feb 5th to give me an answer. I inquire where this caster is located , I'm told Atlanta . Feb 5th comes and goes no call. This morning Feb 6th, my husband calls and ask about the ring and they tell him they have been waiting on me to bring gold. He says what? And a lady says when I came in to look at the wax I said I would return with gold for them to use to make the ring . MY husband says NO she did not ever say that , I was there with her. We spoke to Jim ( the owner ) that day . At this point we realize that we have been lied to at least 5 times , and now there's some made up story about gold. Its Feb 6th , I still do not have a CHRISTMAS gift that was promised on Dec 20th and my husband has now cancelled the order . The original was bought from Jared's . I thought I would be doing a good thing to give a hometown jeweler my business and it has been a complete nightmare. I was warned by a friend not to go here but I didn't listen. Maybe I can prevent someone else from being lied to and ignored...

I walked in 15 minutes before closing to see if someone could quote me a price to fix a priceless piece of jewelry...our baby boy Dean passed away nine years ago and it was a charm of his little fingerprint, one of the only things I have to remember him by. It took me nine years to work up the courage to get this charm fixed because I was always afraid it would get lost or ruined at a jeweler.
When I walked in, the kindest lady, (I wish I got her name, perhaps she was an angel) immediately greeted me, listened intently about my charm, and treated me with such kindness, gentleness, and respect. She carefully and softly explained the whole process of getting it fixed, showed me the machines that they would use, and truly put me at ease. I was ready to leave my baby boy's charm with them for two nights until it could be fixed.
Then she talked to the head jeweler, who saw my tears (I was feeling so emotional!) and immediately said he would fix it on the spot right then and there. He even added a beautiful gold coating to the jump ring even though the charm was a cheaper material. On top of it all, the price was so very reasonable.

Read moreDon’t ever ask to speak to the owner, you will quickly find a owner that’s upset & cuts you off before you even state the full issue, I told him that he was rude & I had higher expectations as far as customer service is concerned….His response “You could never ruin the Morgan’s name we’ve been around for 20 years so go right a review or get a lawyer” I never threatened to do either one of those things so I’m not sure how we got there in less than 60 seconds on the phone, so here I am, here we have a man/owner who’s more concerned about popularity/name than actual character & customer service.
