Absolutely amazing store and store owner. I’m moving to Oregon, but before I left VA, I dropped into this cute store once again. I had been there previously for the 2023 Spring Festival with my best friend and we got matching moth enamel pins. I unfortunately lost mine and wanted to find one to replace it before I left for the West Coast. They didn’t have any in stock at the time, but Alison came to my rescue. She mentioned that she’d have more in stock soon and that she could work out a shipping option with me. I’m in Nebraska now, and she’d kept in touch, sent a video full of the new moth enamel pins, and got me squared away with shipping and everything. If you're looking for a unique gift shop in this area, this is where you go. Located in the historic Hilton community of Newport News, it's a warm and welcoming shop that features their own products (the freeze dried candies - do yourself a favor and buy some) as well as those of local artists and vendors. You can find everything from custom dice (I've purchased 5 or 6 sets so far) to candles, jewelry to incense. And as someone who can be overpowered by intense scents, it doesn't drive me across the street like bodyworks does.
