I had my first visit with Annie, and I couldn’t be happier! From the moment I sat in her chair, I felt completely at ease. Annie took the time to truly listen to my concerns and worries, and she went through tons of pictures I brought with me. She even helped me understand what I liked (and didn’t like) about the photos and explained the “why” behind it all.

Since I was nervous about keeping my length, we didn’t make any drastic changes, but Annie’s calm and confident approach put all my worries to rest. She completely understood my vision and made thoughtful adjustments that not only honored my wishes but also addressed a problem area in my curls I hadn’t even noticed before.

Annie’s expertise goes beyond just styling—she’s an incredible teacher too! She shared product recommendations, styling techniques, and even let me record her styling process, which was a game-changer for me as a visual learner. I immediately noticed the difference as she was blow-drying my hair. It’s bouncier, has so much more movement, and most importantly, it still feels like me. My hair looks alive, full of energy, and my length is beautifully preserved.

The best part? When I got home, my husband kept asking what I did differently. (Every long-haired girl knows that’s the ultimate compliment!)

I LOVE Annie! A friend introduced me to her a few years ago and I’ve been going to the Newton location ever since! I used to live ten mins away, but I live an hour away now and I still make the drive because NOBODY gets my hair like Annie does!

She always takes time to ask me what’s going on and what I envision for my hair, we talk through photos, and feasibility of my hair looking like the photos , and then we get to the fun part- the cut and wash!

We always talk through the cut- about hair, life, tv shows- everything! It’s like going to a dear friend who also does amazing haircuts lol!

Not only is Annie super experienced and talented - but she’s also so kind and understanding of where you’re at and meeting you there instead of trying to force styles that won’t work for your lifestyle!

Her prices are extremely reasonable for a curly haircut !

She always takes time to tell me what products she used and recommends products I can buy to maintain the hairstyle!

If you have time - do the deep conditioning / hydrating treatment - it’s such a relaxing experience!

Her salon is set up so well! It’s like a little spa experience with snacks and drinks and a little water fountain ! Really makes you feel like you’re taking a 1-2 hour break to take care...
