Everything positive I previously had to say has gone out the window with this last visit. Everything was going fine until they brought out their pancakes- they seemed darker than shown in the image: the female from the front when we asked her about it became very snarky. I reasonably asked her- do they normally come like this, if yes, then I know I just don’t like them and then don’t worry about it. But if they are darker than normal that’s my issue. She carried on being snarky nodding her head excessively as if to rush me to shut up. When I said never mind just bring the check because I’m not arguing over 5 dollars it was a valid question- she makes sure to bring the check to my husband and mention a 2.00 discount was added. Mind you- he had never even spoken with her so to bring him the check and speak only to him Is crazy. The micro aggressions became MACRO aggressions. Foolish plain face middle school looking woman who’s family must own bc the confidence to speak to me like that was crazy. Harsh of me to say? Yes. Deserving situation- also yes. I don’t respect ppl who blatantly and boldly disrespect me when I’ve been nothing but respectful. Why the misplaced irritation and anger? Because a customer called out your burnt food??!? . You could have kept that along with your unprofessional rude attitude. Third time here such a major fail and disappointment. She missed out on a good tip like the other two times I’ve been there with much more polite servers. The only woman I saw there and she acted like a nightmare- very very on brand. I love encountering ppl like this who are unapologetically rude- because I am confident she will give the same attitude to someone who doesn’t have the patience I demonstrated or anything to lose. Keep being you girl! The more you mess around, the more you will find out eventually. Life is the best teacher.

K-Coop is a must go-to-spot if you're feeling some Korean style fried chicken👌 The chicken is fried to perfection not overly fried but light and crispy. The flavor of the chicken with its sauce partner just goes so well together depending which sauce you'd like to pair it with. I ordered the Classic Winged Mixed 10 piece ($14.99 by itself) with Green Onion Topping $15.99 (Shredded Green Onion with Sweet Black Pepper Sauce 12oz) and was recommended to get the Soy Spicey sauce 4oz. I also got Korean Cass Beer ($9 Large Bottle) the combo of the cold refreshing beer and crispy chicken is always a great complementary to the palate. The other plate is another Classic Winged Mixed 10 piece ($14.99 by itself) but with Sweet Onion $15.99 (Sliced Sweet Onion with Creamy Onion Sauce 12oz). The appetizer on the side is the Fried Calamari 1/2lbs $12.50, the Real Jumbo Shrimp $13.50 and one order of Curly Fries $5.50 and one order of Waffle Fries $5.50 to make a delicious addition to the meal dinner experience! 🍽 The atmosphere had an ambience of Korean modern chill group setting yet bringing the kpop TV playing mixed with sports entertainment brought a youthful vibe but it welcomes all ages. The Staff is great and welcoming with good customer service. The place is clean. I liked the little button feature on the edge of the table to alert the staff either when you're ready to order or you need something. Overall delicious food, awesome place to go as a group and staff is friendly and great experience all around!

After driving long distances on a recent road trip to Canada, we got back in town to Chicago area around 8pm. Most places were closed or about to close. We ended up at K-Coop in Morton Grove as they were open until 10pm. This place specializes in Korean fried chicken (KFC). They also have variety of menu options as well. We didn’t want fried food for late dinner. So we ordered various rice bowls to try. Our favorite was the teriyaki chicken rice bowl which had spring mix, edamame, sweet corn, carrots, pickled radish, white rice, spicy mayo and teriyaki chicken. The portion was very very generous for $11.95 with lots of perfectly grilled chicken. The chicken was moist, tender and savory and way exceeded our expectations. We had leftover to take home. Waitstaff were attentive and efficient and they seem to be Korean American. There was a magic call button at the table that we can press to request services. The restaurant has a relaxing vibe and K-pop videos were on the screens and K-pop music soundtrack was playing in the background. Whenever we are in the Chicago area again, we will definitely come back and try their other dishes, especially their KFC.

First time coming here we got the fried gizzard in spicy major, whole chicken half real garlic half soy garlic, onion rings, and a coke.

Service: They’re nice but nothing above and beyond. They’re quick with everything which is what really stands out. Granted it wasn’t busy but still nice to see. They’re not hovering so it’s nice you get to enjoy your meal and you can ring them whenever needed.

Food: Quality of the chicken and gizzard are very, very good. Crispy and juicy. It’s equivalent to Jolee bee’s chicken in terms of juiciness. The real garlic sauce obliterated the crispiness but that’s probably because they just poured it on rather than tossing. I think I’ll just get standard fried with sauce on the side next time. Portion sizes are appropriate for the cost. Onion rings were okay. Could’ve spent longer in the frier to crisp up.

Sauces: The spicy major has a sweet and spicy note to it. Just enough spice for me without reaching for water. I think they could cut back on the salt and sugar as it’s a bit overwhelming without rice. Soy garlic is okay. I think it’s a tad bit salty and needs a bit more sweet to balance it out. Real garlic is my favorite out of the 3. Perfectly balanced with a punch of garlic and I believe some lemon? Either way it tasted delicious.

Conclusion: Definitely will come back. As far as I know they only have one store so if they’re receptive to feedback and/or consistently improving their recipe then they have huge potential. I’m so glad a quality restaurant opened up...

This K-coop restaurant is literally the best place that I had ever been in! My friend recommended this place and I am so thankful that she did. Ever since I knew of this resto, it had been my go to place whenever I need to have a hangout time for myself or just need some distractions after a tiring week. This place is very welcoming, relaxing, and really enjoyable. Their interior is so amazing and it has a great atmosphere. The whole place is decent, neat, bright, and very clean. All of their staff maintained the place very presentable. They also got the perfect location, their place is really easy to find, and they are very accessible. You can visit this place in just a few minutes from your area. K-coop is very convenient. The employees here are working so fast. They really know how to impress the customers with their service. They also care to all of their customers, they are always willing to assist and help the customers, and they all know how to treat customer so well. So responsible and personable employees. They actually gave me so many reasons to come back. They are very nice and kind. This K-Coop is really highly recommend! If you are here or nearby in this area you all must visit this place and give their food a try. You won’t regret it. This place never disappoints. I would really love to go back here again soon when I have some free time. Thank you guys for the wonderful service and an amazing experience. Will see you again soon. Thank you! Please keep it up and more customers to...
