ALDI — Local services in Noble Township

I really like shopping at Aldi! They have great vegan, gluten free and non dairy options! I appreciate their Fit & Active brand with snack options under 100 calories. They have great organic selections. I love the cauliflower chips. Oat, coconut, almond and soy milk as well as affordable dairy milk. Believe is or not, they have great frozen sushi! I'm obsessed with it! Their cheese, seasoning and spice selections are quite impressive. I've never purchased from their wine selection, but I'm told they're delicious. I buy frozen shrimp and fresh salmon filets from Aldi. The staff are kind, courteous and COVID conscious. If you need a cart, you'll need a quarter... the carts are custom linked together and only released by inserting a quarter... this is to ensure you take the cart back and not leave it in the parking lot... I always take my cart back, but leave the quarter in for the next person to use. You also have to bring your own bags, or purchase reusable bags at the store. You bag your own at a table provided at the front of the store, or at your vehicle. I just separate and bag things up at my vehicle... if the weather is nice. I almost forgot to mention, they also have seasonal non food items. I'm always shocked with how low my total is at checkout. The may not be name brands, but who cares. It all tastes great and it goes further!...

Cashier was rude and hateful during my checkout experience. I used self-checkout and the machine would not read my card. Cashier came over, suspends my order to checkout at the register. She did not know how to get the order up after suspending it. Instead of asking for help, she got mad. I was in a hurry, she yells "Do you want me to do this or not!". I explained that I needed to leave and she she yells "You should know what amount is on your card and I wouldn't have to do this!" This was in front of other customers! It was not my fault the self-checkout wouldn't work, it was not my fault she did not know how to do her job, I was not offered to pay any other way, I was not apologized to for their machines not working, all of which should have been done. I am someone who regularly shops here and spends roughly $800/month at Aldi, and should not have been treated that way. I left the cart with $250 of items for them to put away because of the poor customer service. Will be contacting...

Aldi's always has interesting new foods to try such as varied flavored rice mixes, veggie burgers made from lots of different healthy alternative ingredients and a good selection of organic foods. I love their produce picks of the week. Their seasonal merchandise sections are convenient which saves me from having to search in a big store and there is always something different that I find useful. I also like the way they keep their main staples in the same place and don't move them around all the time like big department stores. If I need something in a hurry, I know just where to...
