Sunset Sign Designs — Local services in Norco

I'm sharing with you a business dealing I had with owner Mark Martin of Sunset Sign Designs. My business paid him $4,000 upfront on a storefront electric fascia sign for our exercise equipment business. We never ever even received our sign, our money back, or even some form of credit. We spent many months sending messages and text messages without one response from Mark Martin. Eventually he agreed to pay us back in installments of $500 because he had money issues, but didn't even sign the first check. Then it bounced because he cancelled it. Took him to small claims court and won. He still didn't provide the sign as agreed. Afterward, I called him again to politely ask for either the sign I paid for or my $4,000 returned to me. He proceeds to tell me that he knows about my reviews of him on the internet(that I put up after 1 1/2 years of the run around) and he has a lawyer(this is the clean version)! Will sue me for slander, etc.. etc.. Tells me that I messed with the wrong guy and he will do this and that. I told him he is a crooked business owner and that I want my $4,000 returned to me(yes years later) or just give me my damn sign!

Sadly he's just a con artist, typical narcissist that can't make it on his own without ripping off customers. As a military veteran, I worked very hard to even secure financing to start my own business. I did it the honest way and didn't steal from others to achieve my goals. I have no respect for those that steal from vets, completely unprofessional and unethical.

My advice to anyone looking to do business with this guy, look around for more legitimate businesses in your area and just skip this business altogether!
