Wienerschnitzel — Restaurant in Norco

I visited the location at 3645 Hamner avenue in Norco California store number 734 just before 9:00 p.m. on April 14th 2025. I ordered five chili dogs, one kraut dog and two medium size orders of fries. The hot dogs all were left on one side for a considerable amount of time because it was really Brown and was kind of tough, the french fries were soggy and tasted as though the oil was old. I ordered three side orders of onions and they were discoloured and when I open the lids you could smell that the onions were bad. The kraut on my hot dog was a caramel color and was bad. The only thing that was good was the chili. I threw the kraut dog away along with the onions and took the hot dog out of two of the chili dogs and just ate the bun with the chili in it. I visit this establishment probably about once a week and are a regular customer and I was going to call them last night but it was rather late when I got home and so I called them this afternoon and the gentleman that answered said that they didn't need a receipt they just needed the food back and I explained to him that the food how did been put in the trash and that the trash was in my trash can and then he proceeded to tell me that he could only give me credit or refund if I brought the food back and I told him that I have never had an issue like that before with the restaurant requesting the food back the following day. He said well I'm not saying that you're lying but a lot of people do lie and that's why we have to do it this way and then I proceeded to tell him that I didn't think it was very good business practice because I wasn't lying and that I am a regular customer and that did not matter to him. I told him I was going to contact corporate. Before we hung up I asked if he was the manager and he said no the manager is not here I guess he was the assistant manager and I then asked win the manager would be in and he said he's in and out all the time. This is the first time I have ever complained about their food their food has been consistently good although sometimes the fries are not cooked completely, but until today I have never reached out and made a complaint to them whatsoever. I just wanted to share my experience. Like I said I will be reaching out to corporate. I actually thought about getting the bag of trash out of my trash can and just taking the whole bag inside the restaurant and say here you go you...

I am from Chicago and ordered the Chicago dog. All the ingredients were accurate. The onions, sport peppers, relish, tomato, pickle. I was highly satisfied with the quality of these ingredients. I would even argue they are higher quality than what I would recieve back home. The hot dog itself was trash though. It tasted like something I can get at the grocery store, just that terrible funky cheap hot dog flavor. No crunch or snap on the skin at all. Just a meat mush like a boiled hot dog that they serve to 5 year olds. Charging 3.39 for a hot dog, the company can source higher quality like Nathans or Vienna beef. It would make the hot dog 100x better.

This Wienerschnitzel has been in this place for a number of years. I believe it is privately owned and because of this the prices will differ (higher) then other stores. The facility is relatively clean, bathrooms are just okay, they have two. These used to be men/women, now they are both unisex. Staff are readily available to take orders and food is reasonably quick. Fries are generally good, sometime under cooked. This facility charges $.50 for the addition of one piece of cheese and $.35 for a small cup of ranch, often not full. While I understand the cost of items is going up, this particular facility is increasing exorbutently. I think this facility is okay and if you need that Wienerschnitzel fix it works, but I think if you are willing to drive a little further the facility in Corona is superior in...
