Mike's Computer and Cable Plus — Local services in Norcross

I've been using Mike since the late 90s. He has blown me away with his knowledge and moreso his honesty. I was just quoted $465 plus taxes to replace a motherboard that Mike determined was exposed to static. The fix was $50 bucks and his services are always on the line of this partiular experience. I've purchased used computers as well as parts to tackle my DIY shenanigans. When I give up, Mike always gets me out of trouble and he's even willing to give advice when I think I want to try a fix on my own. I send everyone I know to Mike's including my students at the senior center where I used to teach computer based courses. I've purchased used computers and My daughter picked up a Mac Book for my grandson. He's been nothing less than trustworthy and accurate and I recommend you go to him even after you've been diagnosed with a dire issue by another Geek Squad or equivelant. I understand that people are buying used computers, but if I spend over $200 to buy a computer for my business I expect to use for more than 2 or 3 months before it stops working or ink burst through the screen. I asked about the ink leak initially cause I could see the bleed on the side very faintly and was told nothing is wrong with it, but it is sold as is. Now I have a huge ink splatter and his response was to come by to see if there’s another one that I can buy. After mentioning I just bought this one he stated come on to see if we can fix it. How about you just don’t sell people broken or partially destroyed product from the beginning. Refurbished is restored and should be done correctly. That’s a horrible business practice or they way any company should treat their customers. I’ll go back to see if he can fix it, but he has lost me...

I had cracked my screen on my 15" macbook pro a couple of weeks ago. Thanks to Bryan, I was able to connect with Mike and he is the opposite of Bryan's review. Completely. Mike was professional, fast and more than anything, honest and transparent. In less than a week, he fixed my monitor much earlier than expected and the display is as good as new.
