As a recent bride I am so thankful for the unique and open minded taste that Lorak owner, Anna, has for wedding rings. I have strong opinions on why I never wanted an engagement or wedding rings which I won’t share here. Visiting every jeweler near us before finally going into LORAK was so incredibly off putting and so painfully emblematic of all the opposite reasons I think the union of two people in love is special, that I was brought to frought tears. Anna, designer-maker-owner of LORAK, had the only body of work that made me genuinely happy and made me see myself cherishing a material object that represented me and my husband. Her husband Chuck is who we most often met in the early stage of just choosing an engagement ring, and then our consultation for getting our wedding bands, and realizing it was a custom job I finally got to meet Anna. As a husband and wife team they make a very approachable fine jewelry business. I felt at ease as a person who typically avoids jewelry at all costs. When I asked to have the chiseled texture white gold men’s wedding band that I’d fallen in love with on my first trip, Anna took time and asked me patient questions about how I wanted it to fit the engagement ring we had purchased there a year or two before. I have never squealed at a piece of jewelry before in my life until I went to pick our rings up. I’m glad my now husband gently and persistently persuaded me to let him get me both rings. I am so incredibly grateful to LORAK. And if you actually love wearing jewelry….I think you should DEFINITELY go, too. I hope to get the silver ring with a bluish patina and design of a snake for my sister as a present soon. We’re both so pleased and feel so at home...

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Anna for the second time, and once again, she completely exceeded my expectations. We collaborated on a custom gold and diamond bracelet, and the process was seamless from start to finish.

Beautiful jewelry, love their pieces. however if you buy earrings I would recommend making sure you have some backings for them because they don’t come with them and I got a pair for my birthday last year and only got to wear them once and lost one because of that. So sad and disappointing. Was told that this can be common by others I know that have purchased their earrings as well. Haven’t been back since but hopefully I will be able to replace them one day as I do love...
