278 times I have been to this studio. 278 times I leave loving it more than I thought possible. 278 times I realize that it's not JUST a workout.
This place seriously gives me life. It maintains my healthy mental state. I have actual friends that I've met in class. Coaches and members. Good friends. People that I've called on and who've answered. People who I don't have to call on for them to reach out. In my 3 years at OTF, I have had my share of ups and downs. I've been celebrated during my ups and taken care of during my downs. From the owner checking on me after a medical procedure to a coach hang at winefest and everything in between, these are some of the best humans on this planet.
Oh yeah, you also workout here!!! The coaches (as coaches) are motivational and energetic. At first I didn't like the attention during class but now I get my feelings hurt when they don't shout out my accomplishments!! They encourage you to cheer on others as well. I met one of my most favorite people on earth, right here in this studio from cheering on fellow members during class. Thank you coaches!! The front desk staff is knowledgeable, friendly, caring, and hilarious. They keep us on our toes and push us to join challenges and to work hard from the front of the studio. Paula is the icing on the cake for this OTF. Kind, supportive, accommodating, and friendly. I love coming into the studio and seeing her smiling face.
Do yourself a favor, change your life, and go to OTF in Ghent. You will not be disappointed. I love it here and these people will forever hold a special place in my heart....

In arriving for class, I was made aware of a 5-minute policy as I arrived. This is not something I've experienced locally as both a member/staff, so this was new for me. While I always strive to follow policy, I do appreciate communication of said policy prior to arriving. That was not the case. Instead, I was met with a tone not congruent with the elevated guest service I know as a coach and member. To be asked, "...you need to change clothes too...?" or to be told, "you need to get into class!!" as I'm hanging up my jacket...the energy was just not welcoming, and I just want to ensure members or those visiting the studio do not experience the same. Again, policy is very important (and I see that it was implemented in 2020), and I will gladly follow on visits in other locations...but please clearly communicate with new members, visitors, etc of this prior to them entering your studio. OTF is a safe haven for us all, so positive energy is...
Read moreBefore starting as a coach at OTF Ghent, I was a member. It was the community-feel, the clear direction and the burst of competitiveness that solidified it for me. The heart rate monitor offers a chance to witness results in real time and there is always a specific goal to chase as work to improve your overall cardiovascular health.
Iâve always been a part of a team, and even though each person is working as an individual toward his or her goals, itâs hard to ignore the natural energy brought on by those around you.
The OTF Ghent community is special. The studio feels like home and the members are like family. We work hard as coaches to set you up for success, and we celebrate in each of those moments/milestones with you.
If you are looking for a workout where all fitness levels can come together for 60 minutes, eliminate all thought and push harder than you probably ever thought you could while still having fun then Orangetheory is right for you.
See you in the...
