OUR SEVEN STAR BIRTHDAY CAKE🌹 This has to be the tastiest, moistest cake I have ever eaten, ever! Second only to my wedding cake. I needed a cake for my husband’s birthday and I made an urgent call to the cake stores I found online based on their ratings. I made a last minute switch from the first bakery I had wanted to order from because of their poor customer service and unfriendliness. While trying to make enquiries about the cake I could hear so much impatience in the lady’s voice who sounded like she was rushing me off the line. Even though she had a flowery 5 star review when I googled l knew I could not buy from them. I respected myself and went for option B, “Jen’s Pownd Cakes”. Not only did Jen herself answer all my questions, she told me how their cakes are made and the secret to the moistness ( for me that’s the most important part of any cake) . She made the cake that same day so it would be super fresh for the next day. The nastiness of the first cake shop pushed me to discover Jen’s Pownd Cakes. It’s super delicious without being sugary, melt in your mouth softness. Just everything and more a cake should be. This was a 7 Star cake in taste and texture. So, I was attending Norfolk State University homecoming festivities and a friend was talking about this Pound Cake place. She was saying the cakes, which come in different sizes are delicious. She said they have different favors and they were moist. I decided to try it out. The store closed at 6:00 pm and I had 15 minutes to get there in the midst of evening traffic. I called and told the young lady that I was coming from NSU and my GPS told me I would arrive 3 minutes before the store closed. So, I asked her do they close the doors early and she said, no. I arrived at 6:01 and she let me in. I was shocked. She was very polite, courteous, friendly, and professional. There were some customers from Alabama who had also heard about it and walked in after me. She was the same with them. She allowed me to sample the different favors and they were absolutely delicious. I purchased six mini cakes. Oh my gosh!!! DE-licious!!! Totally scrumptious! I highly recommend "Pound Cakes by Jen." Because of dietary restrictions, I have to monitor my food intake especially sweets. However, it doesn't hurt to eat them occasionally.

I would post a picture BUT I swallowed it so fast that I could not snap one quick enough. Don't tell my grandma because she would haunt me for the rest of my life, but Jen put her little baby pinky toe in these cakes!!! They are soooooooooo good!!!!

The Lord gave Mrs. Jen a little more in the baking department than He gave my sweet dead grandma because baaaaaaaaabbbbbbyyyyyy they are soooo much better than my grandma's dry Pound Cakes!!!

I had the strawberry one and I bought my husband the lemon one...but ate it before he found out so technically I had the strawberry and lemon one.

There are like 30 flavors and I plan to eat my way through every single one of them!

If you have commitment issues like me, don't worry....you can taste them before you choose.

The turtle one is delish as well. Don't ask me how I know....I stole a piece of my Aunt's while she was in the bathroom. Don't tell her!! Sis is serious about her cakes!

Don't wait...go like RIGHT NOW! Don't take your kids because those little crumb snatchers will want some of yours!!!
