The Redefinery — Local services in Norfolk

Do better… I consigned my custom leather sofa at The Redefinery. I knew what I had originally paid, what similar sofas in similar condition are selling for and what the sofa would cost new. I did my research. I received a belittling phone call after the sofa was delivered to the store. I was told that if they had seen the sofa in person before it was delivered, they would’ve never accepted it on the sales floor. That they would never be able to sell it for anywhere near the money that I wanted out of it. She pretty much acted like I was in the wrong and never gave me a chance to voice an opinion or knowledge of leather furniture. She told me I could either sell it for much less than I wanted or I could come and pick it up. I had no where to store it and had just paid to have it delivered. Lo and behold, the sofa sold a day later. I’m gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and say that lack of knowledge was the problem. And the lady was rude and obviously doesn’t understand resale value! I cannot recommend this...

This was my first visit to The Redefinery and it certainly won’t be the last. From the moment I walked in, I was loving everything. I’m on a tight budget and initially thought I couldn’t afford much until I had the pleasure of talking with Danielle and she explained the pricing structure. I love everything about the concept of Redefinery and how it allows people to afford beautiful items. I am determined to find my sofa from Redefinery but until then I did score this super cool desk chair. I am so glad I stumbled upon Danielle...

I absolutely LOVE The Redefinery! Danielle and Kristen are such lovely people who have literally helped me furnish my new home! I've gotten such amazing deals from their shop - a new sofa for under $900! a buffet that retails at $5k for under $1k! - and I have loved every single piece I've purchased. Such a wonderful shop in the Ghent area, I highly recommend stopping in for any home decorating...
