We celebrated a birthday here and it was the BEST time!
One star docked for cleanliness, but that's not to say it wasn't clean. Personally, I feel it just could've been cleaner. I don't know the cleaning schedule/protocol but the mats we were on looked previously used by others as there were strands of hair, residue/impressions, and other particles on it. When we started with stretches on the mats, I couldn't get comfortable with my head/hair/face that close to the floor. So, I recommend coming prepared with a blanket or personal yoga mat if you have similar concerns. It will only be used for the first 20 or so minutes anyway. There's a place to safely leave your personal items. I forgot all about my concerns after that. My only other critique is that there was room for 4 fabrics to hang, but only 3 were used for my 5 person group. So, we were required to pair in groups of 2 with 1 odd one out. I did learn upon arrival that they have a rule to not use all 4 fabrics for a less than 7 person group. So, we continuously had an oddball 5th person that had to rotate around the fabrics and poles, but it didn't take away from the fun we all still had!
Now, onto the better part of the review! We did the fabrics and pole workouts. Yes, I said "workouts" because bay-beee, my whole group was feeling it the next day. I believe Ashley was our class trainer. Let me just say, she is one bad mamma jamma! Body was tea and she effortlessly flexed on our group every opportunity she had (granted, it was to show us the next lesson)... that woman is a pro-fesh-shun-nalll! She was incredibly patient when our group struggled with different activities and stepped in to correct our forms as needed. She was very accommodating by asking us what kind of music we wanted to vibe to, if we had any disabilities, and what kind of teaching style we wanted from her. Ashley was just so much fun and supported/cheered/congratulated our achievements, however small, at every turn. I truly wish anyone else that comes here to have as great an experience with the lessons and with Ashley as...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was so excited to try this aerial class after seeing it on TikTok, as Iāve been looking for new hobbies to explore. Unfortunately, my experience wasnāt as welcoming as I had hoped. Since it was my first time, there were many things I didnāt understand or know how to do, and I felt the instructor didnāt provide enough guidance or support for a beginner like me.
She seemed to focus much more on the other two people in the class, who appeared more advanced. When I started to get discouraged because I wasnāt picking it up as quickly, there was no encouragement from her. In fact, when she did help me, it felt forceful and almost like she was frustrated that I wasnāt getting it as fast as the others.
Iām not skinny, but Iām also not big, and it felt like the instructor assumed I was less capable than the other, smaller participants, which was disheartening. It really ruined what I hoped would be a positive and fun first-time experience. I had been looking forward to making this a regular hobby, but after today, I donāt think Iāll be returning.
The studio itself is beautiful, and my friend enjoyed the class, but sadly, my first experience left me feeling...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI canāt stop raving about it! From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of amazing. The class was well-structured, engaging, and welcoming to beginners, making it the perfect introduction to the art of aerial movement. The real standout of the session was our phenomenal instructor, Tes. She created an encouraging and inspiring environment where we all felt empowered to explore and push our boundaries. Whether it was breaking down techniques with patience and clarity or cheering us on as we gained confidence in the air, Tes made the entire experience unforgettable. If you're looking for an exciting new challenge, a fantastic workout, or just a unique way to move and express yourself, this class is an absolute must! Thanks...
