Wasserhund Brewing Company — Restaurant in Norfolk

Went in on Monday for their Soft Opening. I sat at the bar and had a couple beers and some wings. I initially expected things to be a little slower in service because of opening day, new people in the kitchen, and everyone trying to find their rhythem, but "B", Analese, and the other staff from kitchen made sure things kept moving, and I didnt have any extra of a wait. From what I could see, there didn't seem to be any slowness of service...even when the place got busy at dinner time. My wings came out hot and just the way I ordered them. Nicole, (brought over from the VB location), was my bartender and did an outstanding job running the bar. Jason (who is new to Wasserhund) was also working on the bar and did a great job. Both were very friendly and helpful. It was also a pleasure chatting with Christine (owner) at the bar for a bit. Lots of new faces, and good food, and I look forward to going back! We’ve been to the Virginia Beach and Chesapeake spots, and the new Norfolk location totally keeps the vibe going. The beer is on point—especially the Shepheweizen (my favorite!) —and the Italian Greyhound pizza (add mushrooms!) is always a solid pick.
