Subway — Restaurant in Norfolk

Probably the worst Subway I have ever been to. The one girl (her name was Latoya, I believe) making our sandwiches had an extremely snotty attitude before we even walked up to the counter - as though we were interrupting something so important she was doing. There was only customer ahead of us and that was it. So, what was with the attitude? As she's putting veggies and condiments on my sandwich, I ask for Oregano, she says "We don't carry oregano". Really? Since when? Because every other Subway I've been to has it. That wasn't a big deal, the attitude in which she said it, was. I asked for jalapenos and pickles. She barely puts any of the two on there. A footlong sandwich with five jalapenos? You gotta be kidding me. It's like they think, if you ask for more, each slice comes out of their paycheck. I also asked for extra mayo and barely got any of that but with how she threw the bottle back into the holder, I didn't want to bother asking her to put more on. I was just done with the attitude and wanted to get out. 1/10, go to the one on 13th ST instead. At least the employees there are friendly. Won't be returning to...

Two occasions I have watched people in line leave over the slow sandwich making skills. If I was not there for someone else sandwich I would have left! I worked at subway many years ago and we had out the door lines. This was no where near a rush yet dauntingly slow. I believe the manager is more concerned with making sure others know to charge for extras than productivity. Last time, she stopped to inform me of the extra cost of guacamole and barely gave much to butter toast with. Also had to tell me the ghost pepper read may have. A bite to it.I figured that since it says ghost pepper in the name. I wouldn't mind the shared information if she was not so painfully slow! Maybe processes have changed post covid however it's hard to wait for my sandwiches done thinking how I could've had most sandwiches started and labeled. I'll go to a different store perhaps however if customer service is speeder I may come back and...

Sandwiches are always consistantly good, the quality is always fresh. Comparatively, it's a pretty good value. Service is fast and efficient. In fact, I have sometimes felt almost rushed! That's not a complaint, just an opinion! Dining in isnt that special, as the facilities seem very utilitarian, not cozy or inviting. Perfect for a quick solo lunch. The only thing I would like to see would be additional sides. No fries, please, they are everywhere. Chips are ok, but perhaps a vegetable option, or macaroni or potato salad, would be welcome.
