I am a long time customer at my local Yankee Candle. I have the rewards app on my phone. I was told that you get a free candle on your birthday, So I added my birthday onto the app. When I went into the store to receive a free candle, after purchasing from this company for awhile, The woman working mocked me and told me I needed to be a rewards member for a few months before I would receive anything for my birthday. She told me “you can’t just sign up now and expect a free reward” mockingly, with a harsh tone and judgy expression. I had said that I had the rewards app, but my birthday hadn’t been added in until today..
