I had my first session of microblading done, in May. When leaving i was really excited they looked the way i had expected. After the initial visit my results faded ( they're supposed to get much lighter for a few days but the color is supposed to mostly come back) but the color on mine hardly returned and the little color that did return was ashy grey but most did not return at all. I talked to Sydney about my concerns and she started talking in circles about âtrust the processâ and they will return and the touch up visit would take care of the patchy spots. After my first visit it looked as if i had nothing done. At my 2nd appointment I decided to go a little less conservative just to be sure results didnât fade again. She was very surprised that when I returned there really werenât any strokes that had come back however said it was because my skin type. My skin is not out of the normal itâs not oily and itâs not dry itâs what most considered ânormalâ skin but she insisted it was my skin type and she didnât want to do strokes again she wanted to do the powder brow in a warmer color so they didnât turn ashy grey and would stay this time. I questioned it however again she said trust the process. I made sure to ask her if this visit would essentially be like my first visit due to the fact I had no sign of previous micro blading due to the amount of fading and she said no. I asked if these donât stay and I were to need a touch up again would that be included in the price that I am paying because at this point Iâve paid close to $700. Mind you was also taken by surprise because when we had originally talked, the second visit was part of the cost. In the month that had passed the second visit was no longer part of the cost and it was $100 or $150 more. She thought she had told me via email bu, I looked back and said I was never told that. She told me she doubts I would need a touch up after this however we would discuss it down the road if needed. I almost said forget it and didnât have the second session because altho she answered the questions i had she seemed irritated i was questioning her, she had also mad mention i was her last session that day and she had plans after my session. Against my better judgment i moved forward with my second session. So leaving once again they looked they way I expected but weâre a little warmer that I thought she did make sure to mention it was to keep them from being ashy. The next few days they faded and then came back pinkâŚâŚ like cranberry pink. I again reached out and she said trust the process I sent her pictures and she said they would need one more sessions but she was happy with how they healed so far. It was going to be another $50 and she was booking out for a full month. At this point I was pretty irritated not only were my brows a faded pink color I was going to be again paying. She again said it was my skin type. I expressed my concerns and that I was frustrated that I was again paying for another session and if she isnât confident that they will stay this time and be a normal color I wasnât sure I wanted to have her do them. She said emailed back with this. "There is no way to guarantee your brows will heal how you are expecting so I will go ahead and cancel your appointment. I do apologize for any misunderstandings as Iâve done my absolute best to make sure everything was very clear.â I have since had them fixed by some else and they were correct the first time. Also my new brow artist said it wasnât my skin type it was that she didnât go deep enough so they will fade faster to have her customers come back more often for a touch up. Needless to say she was more money driven and and less customer satisfaction driven. Lesson learned and I would not send anyone to give Sydney business. These were my end results with Sydneyâs work.
*As an edit I was never once rude to you. I stated concerns as a customer should. I lost confidence in you when you gave me reason to. The 5 star reviews you get are because you are offering discounts on their...
Read moreLet me just start off by saying that Sydney is the sweetest, kindest, most patient & helpful person EVER. A few months ago when I was looking into getting my brows done, I sent her tons and tons of questions, and she happily answered each and every one so I could learn if microblading/powder brows would be a good choice for me. I booked my appointment and I could not WAIT for the day to come where I actually had eyebrows! The facility she works from is very nice, very clean, and welcoming. Sydney explained the process of microblading and shading in great detail and answered every question I had. She listened to me as I described what I was wanting and the result I was hoping to achieve. She explained the numbing process, the microblading/shading process, what to expect, and how long it normally takes to complete the appointment. Honestly the appointment was SO easy and I was absolutely thrilled with the results. Sydney provided a take home packet that included very specific instructions for aftercare, some healing balm, and some cotton rounds. She also explained the aftercare steps to me thoroughly in person so I had no questions about what I was supposed to do. As my brows were healing, I sent Sydney pictures and asked her even more questions and she was more than happy to reply to me and reassure me that my healing results were normal and that my brows were looking as expected! Just this last weekend, I went in for my 6 week touch up session. Sydney looked at my healed results in person and suggested that we switch over to ombre powder brows instead of combo brows, which is what I had first started with. The microblading strokes had blurred on my skin and she advised that if we did that again, the same thing would happen. I can't tell you how happy I am that Sydney was such a true professional and made a recommendation based on what she thought would work for ME instead of just doing what I originally asked her to. She knew the results would not be as I wanted and she answered even more questions I had about ombre powder brows after she suggested switching from combo brows. I took Sydney's suggestion and I am SO elated with my ombre powder brows. I am so excited to see how they heal and I have more confidence than I have had in a long time! All I have to do is put on mascara and I feel ready for the day! Sydney is continuing to assist me through this second healing process and is answering all of my questions about what products (face wash, moisturizer, sunscreen) are safe to use on my healed ombre powder brows so they will last me the longest time possible!! Long story short.....SEE SYDNEY!!! You will not regret it! Thank you so much Sydney!! Your work is...
Read more10/31/23- I LOVE SYDNEY! SHE IS THE BEST!! She really listens to you and will give you the best-looking eyebrows to fit you. I went to see her a couple years ago with previous tattooed eyebrows that had faded so bad, and she did an AWESOME job correcting them and giving me natural looking eyebrows. I don't have to wear makeup anymore if I don't want to and I get a ton of complaints on my eyebrows daily! Go to Sydney you will not regret it and you will leave not only looking fabulous but also making a great friend!
! Thank you so much again for giving me back my confidence! Sydney is absolutely amazing! I can tell you that you can read and read all the reviews and get a good idea of how much we all ADORE Sydney. But, you need to meet her for yourself and truly understand just how talented, amazing, good hearted and genuine she really is.. she cares about her clients that she goes above and beyond to make sure they are totally happy with the results of their eyebrows when they walk out of her studio. I went to Sydney after reaching out to her to get a combo brow after dealing with and being embarrassed of 20 year old faded eyebrows. She said we got this and she was right she transformed them to look so natural and beautiful that I went out of her studio feeling the same way ! If you are looking to get your eyebrows done I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SYDNEY ! Thank you so much Sydney for all you do for me and all of your...
