I was in the store on a Friday night around 7pm. Very slow. Not a lot going on. 1 register open. The one right by the door nearest the windows. The sun is shining so strongly into the store I can’t see the associate, the screen where the prices show up, nor the credit card swiper without covering my eyes and stepping far back. Super inconvenient. I say a passing comment about how they should think about opening a different register because the sun shining in the windows was terrible (there are at least 4 other registers) and the snide comment I received back was well they can’t control the sun. Therefore, prices are inflated to make their coupons and sales seem like good values. The store seemed poorly organized. For example, different types of paints were in almost every corner of the store with paintbrushes and other accessories scattered throughout, some items nowhere near the paints. Employees were nice. It was super busy with a long checkout line from the time I entered the store until an hour later when I left. The cashiers were efficient and friendly. Read moreI made a large purchase on Michael’s website. I received confirmation and then the next day got an email that my order has been picked up by UPS. After trying to track my order for a couple of days I reached out to Michael’s customer care and they reassured me that my order was picked up by UPS to contact them. Only to find out a week later my order was never picked up by UPS and they tried to make me wait 10 days before they would process my return. It took HOURS to get my refund put back on my card. I do not recommend buying anything online...
