Pizza Hut isn’t stellar to begin with. This location takes corporate, homogeneous, terrible food to a new low. My husband wanted for a night with family and our two toddler grandsons. 5 of us ordered 2 pizzas and 1 order of breadsticks. $48 with a “tip” for carryout which, let’s face it, just allows the corporation to pay his staff less. I got a email saying it was ready before I went inside. The wait was ridiculously long. No one acknowledged us at the counter for a good 10 minutes. People were mad waiting for food when I got there so obviously it wasn’t just me. Well over a half hour of waiting inside, and checking multiple times at the counter, they finally brought out my food. Drove home and got everyone to the table, only to find one of the pizzas-the one meant for the adults of course, was burned, dried up and cold. Sausage looked like specs of ground beef. Stuff crust was melted completely into the bread. It wasn’t just dry, it had that disgusting burned taste. Long story short, person at the counter offered me $15 credit for “next time” (yeah, right) or to remake my pizza. What on earth made her think I had another hour to wait for crappy pizza? I paid nearly $50 for Pizza Hut which is already stupid. To have it suck more than usual is even worse. Big corporations are getting completely out of hand. I won’t eat here again. I hope others read this and stay away too. Mom and pop shops can’t make it here. Not only does this place drive small business customers away, it’s terrible.

I’d like to start by saying that shift leader Jared is extremely rude and from experience in working as a manager in food service should not be a manager. I ordered a pizza online asked for original with pepperoni, ham, mushrooms and bacon and requested for It to be original crust. After returning home from picking up the pizza I noticed that there were no mushrooms and this pizza is hand tossed (which has a thinner crust as shown in the picture below). I contacted the store asked to speak with a member of management, had the extreme misfortune to speak with Jared. I explained the situation, after placing me on hold a few times he let me know that he cut the pizza himself (not sure why that mattered) the pizza was still wrong. He asked me what I’d like for him to do I let him know I’d either like my money back or a new pizza delivered because it’s raining and to travel 15 mins in the rain due to an error with this establishment is extremely inconvenient, he began YELLING AT ME, saying “I’m not going to waste my drivers time delivering a pizza marked as pickup” the conversation turned into a back and forth which is extremely unprofessional so I asked for a store manager and will contact store manager Ron in the morning.

Absolutely outstanding Pizza Hut location. You have nostalgia for how Pizza Hut tasted when you were a kid? This location makes it like that. You hope the pizza you bring home will look like it does in the ads? This location, seriously. Not entirely sure what motivates the staff at this location, but honestly it tastes like its someone's personal mission to produce pizza that makes people feel like they're eating at one of those extremely rare dine-in locations many of us used to know, or perhaps you earned one of those lil' personal pan pizzas for reading enough books over the summer in your youth. Regardless (see TLDR / "too long didn't read") TLDR: This location makes their pizza and serves it up that should have Pizza Hut corporate see this location as the one to keep around during a future apocalypse. Super friendly staff, timely service, and damn good pizza soon after you order it. Gave me motivation to get through this week and motivation to write this review, honestly. /Picture is of a large stuffed crust cheese pizza/

Worst customer service ever from the Parkway plaza Normal Pizza Hut store. The employees at this store are extremely rude and unprofessional. They made us wait for more than an hour. Even then we dint get the pizza we ordered. We showed our order confirmation details over the mail but still they said it was not reflecting in their system.. first of all being the employees they should have the courtesy to check the order status when the details are given.. instead of that they asked us to contact customer care later they took the order and asked us to come back after fifteen mins.. when we went they were so negligent that they had not started preparing our order and asked us to come back again after fifteen mins... when we went again the pizza was not ready.. if the order was not reflected in their system they should either not take the order at the first place or cancel the order.. why should they ask us to come back again and again and had to make us wait for so long. Because of their unprofessional attitude we ended up cancelling the order out of frustration. this is definitely not a good experience at all. One star is also not worth for...
