Kroger — Local services in Normal

Loyal customer for 11 yrs. I purchase my grocery, gas, and household items here and spend over 1k a month. Went in to get a money order but service counter closed. Usually one of the associate working at self checkout would take 1 min to print me out one. I asked to call a manager to see if they could do it. I asked Wayne and he said he had no one to do it with a bad attitude. My 11 yr old even caught him rolling his eyes as he walked off. Went to Walmart in Bloomington. Went right in to get my money order and decided to do my shopping as well. They have everything Krogers have and more. If I have to drive there for a money order I might as well shop there too. And the store has even been remodeled and new carts. Customers business is not appreciated anymore. I'll be shopping with Walmart....

Everyone was rude and little help at all. There was many things I couldn’t find. You couldn’t get around the aisles because they had random carts, ladders, and other random things I assume from stocking but they were just sitting there vacant and in the way. But what really did it for me was going up to the checkout with two kids and the cashier says barely a word, doesn’t bag, and keeps the belt on so my groceries are piling up, starting to fall off the edge, and instead of the bagger who was standing RIGHT NEXT to me talking to other employees, leaning over the edge just chatting, I bagged them all… while she kept putting the belt on even after I asked her to stop and everything piling up. Wanye, who is a manager, is HORRIBLY RUDE. I asked the self check out associate Jonah to unlock a display for me so I could purchase headphones. Wanye came up to us while Jonah was grabbing my item and YELLED AT THEM FOR NOT ANSWERING THE PHONE. What, does being a manager mean you are too good to answer a phone? In the time Wanye wasted complaining to Jonah about not answering the phones, he could have waddled his booty over and answered it. It was so uncomfortable to stand there while he unjustly scolded them. And even worse to see Jonah put in that position because they were doing their job.
