ALDI — Local services in Normal

Today my mothers shoes were ruined at a dog park so I decided to Stop by Aldi thinking they would have some cheep flip-flops that could get her by until she got home. After searching the isles I was able to locate some shoes that would fit her. They were in box with marked down shoes for 6.99. I went to purchase them and the cashier couldn't find the tag to ring them up. After the manager Amanda went into the back of the store for about 5 minutes she returned and let me know the shoes were 8 dollars. I told and showed her where they were and asked if I could get them for the price advertised she said no, I then asked her if she could show me a tag for the shoes, she said she didn't know where the tag was. I explained to her that I work in retail and typically in theses situations the customer should get the item for the price advertised she declined. I asked to speak to a general manager she gave me his name and told me that he wasn't at work and declined to give me a number where he could be reached at. Overall, she we rude, snobby, argumentative, uninformed about her store and had terrible customer service which is not the way a manager should be. I decided to go across the street to Walmart which is where I should have went to begin with. I will not be doing business with this Aldi, poor...

Yesterday during an Insta-cart delivery order my keys were stolen from my cart which was sitting in the child seater section of the cart. We including myself & staff looked up and down each aisle for my keys and after no one returned them it was assumed these keys were stolen. I'm writing because they don't have a phone and there was no reason this should've happened I take full accountability for having them sit in my cart but I've loss all hope for humanity for the individual that deliberately took my keys and walked off. What was the purpose. I'm praying that someone has the decency to return the keys for a $50 dollar reward and...

The prices are good for the products I like. There's isn't always a wide variety of a specific item, and not all of the brands are the common ones I'm familiar with. The Aldi's peanut butter is one of my very favorites, but one of their sandwich wrap, the one that advertises high fiber tastes meally. You can usually get a very good price for ice cream treats. You have to deposit a quarter when you get a cart, which is returned when you return the cart. You have to bring your own bags or scavenge boxes in the store.
