Bimarts g o t my business as long as they keep their mangers in ck, and I say that to one in particular that pointed me out as a shoplifter to NBPD several years agos, but was quickly exshunarated by the officer when there was a height difference of a foot and half. I held no I'll feelings until I had this uncomfortable feeling that I was being watched and followed threw the store as if I was a convicted criminal. It wasn't cool. Never appolgized nor acknowledge that he had made a mistake, but I didn't care the rest of his employees made up for his stuborness... This was an islsolated insodence and I don't think it's ever going to happen again. Reason being cont on.
90% of the employees know me cause they take the time to say hello to me. The % rate for mangers that take the time to speak w/their patrons is very low, in part cause "I would imagine is their work load keeps them running. Anyway it's a great place shop and find just about anything you could possibly need or want at a better price than Wal-Mart and that's because it's one of the best Pacific Northwest owned and opporated bussnesses that can contend with the plague that Wally...
Read moreTotally profiled because I walked in with my backpack before going to work next door. Was told one needs a bimart card to enter... I see customer after customer enter the store without showing any bimart card. Literally dozens. I brought this fact up to the person and she's like uhhhhh they showed their card.. I'm literally watching these customers waltz in one after the other showing no card whatsoever... so I had to purchase one before entry.
It was most puzzling as I'm a regular patron buying copious amounts of ammunition.. I know the fellas by first name... they know I work at the retail store right next door. I surmise the gatekeeper slackjaws thought I was a homeless man because I was walking in there with a backpack. It was either that or because I look Hispanic and they don't take kindly to any brown skinned folk. Let's hope it was because they thought I was a transient person intent on theft. Either way the coos bay...
Read moreGreat store. I used to live in oregon and I have found memories of Bi-Mart excursions. This trip was no different. The store is pretty limited as far as variety of specific areas (only carry crosman pellets, only have Sheffield screwdrivers) but the selection of TYPES of products is great! They are the only store I've seen since The Big C hit that carried any type of disposable gloves! Also, most of the big box stores, are out of anything BB or pellet pew pew (if you get my drift), but this store still had a few tins and even some oil made for them. The BEST thing was that they had plain old regular hand sanitizer. Like, the old fashioned stuff that didn't have more perfume than alcohol! It stinks for about 5 seconds like rubbing alcohol, then goes away and let's you eat without sneezing! I LOVE this store and the memories...
