The front desk manager was very rude . She was looking at me like she is talking to a thief! I personally donât like to return unless I have to. It was two items that I bought for my grandson and they werenât his size. I loved them and looked for the right size before returning but unfortunately there wasnât his size there for the pants and they didnât have the pullover. The tags were not attached and I only remembered exactly the price for the pullover which was $20 after discount . She looked at me like I am lying and the gentleman who was taking care of me was so uncomfortable for her behavior and was trying to explain. He was very polite and caring, but the managerâŚ.oh my god I was so upset and my mouth was bitter and dry . I wasnât sure for the Nike pantâs price and I asked them to check and I thought it was $24 . She told me it was a set of two pieces like I kept the top and was trying to return the bottom!!!! Finally she said it is $12 and I accepted., but for the pullover she chose the cheapest price in the receipt which was $6 and I had kept a t-shirt for that price at home and told her you just chose the cheapest one?!!! I am hundred percent positive that that pullover was $20 and I had the tags which wasnât attached to it . She could call the Virginia TJ Maxx ( where I bought that item from) and check the price, but instead she was lying and pretended that I am lying. It was first time this happened to me in a store. For the pants I wasnât sure and I accepted the price and I went and found that and told her âcan you see it is just one piece?â. But she just was blaming me saying that I had told it was $24. It was so embarrassing in front of others . I had accepted the price and I found it myself . If I wanted to return for a higher price I wouldnât go and bring it there for the actual price. Anyway I didnât return the pullover and it is not my grandsonâs size . I prefer to give it to someone instead of returning for a price that I know is wrong .
It is not about a few bucks. It is all about a manager behavior with the customer!!!!
I was so upset that I didnât even ask for her name and also I wasted my time there and was late to pick up my grandson from school. She was an Indian woman that I feel so bad whenever I remember her face...
Read moreThis TJ Maxx (on Rockville Pike) has dishonest and sketchy workers. My mother lost her phone and my parents went to look for it. I have her location on my phone and when my parents initially asked they were told by a manager and a floor sales person that there was no phone found and they went to go check a drawer by the cash registers. Not 10 minutes later when I arrived began calling, and playing the alert noise on find my iPhone (while standing outside of the store) did someone from this store magically answer and say the phone and say they have it. She then walked over to the same drawer that was checked earlier, and pulled out my motherâs phone. When we asked this same manager that was also there earlier when questioned by my parents, how long ago the phone was turned in - we were told it was turned in as lost an hour ago. Essentially - one of the employees attempted to keep the lost phone and lied to my parents face about it and tried to play it off after the noise on the phone clearly started going off. When this issue was brought up, the employee became avoidant, rude, and jumpy. She was unable to clearly answer questions as were the other women who were all there during both instances. Nothing added up. Who ever the general manager is needs to check in with their employees because that is some shady,...
Read moreWent to try on a pair of pants. I found the pants draped over the clothing racks, with no hanger. Lady working in the fitting room asked me to put the clothes on the rack. Since it didn't have a hanger I held it for her to see that it was really just 1 item. She took the pants from my hand to check if I really only had one item. Then she gave me a hanger and said "if you don't like it hang it up". I said OK and tried on the pants. When I was done in the fitting room, I walked back up to the counter to return the "1 item" tag. She was not there, I heard her yell "I WILL BE RIGHT THERE MAM WAIT". I set down the tag and said thank you and walked away. I am not standing around waiting for you to come back. She triple verified I only had 1 item, and clearly saw me walking out with it. If she was so worried about theft she wouldn't have walked all the way to where she was, doing IDK what. If you think someone is stealing then call the police, but the try on experience for 1 item...
