Anastasiades Exclusive Chocolates — Local services in North Canton

We just moved to the North Canton area a couple years ago and over the summer it was my other half's birthday and so I googled a place near me and found this place. It had great reviews so I thought well, what the heck let me check it out. Drove over there and the lady behind the counter was super sweet. I figured the best way would be to pick out myself but she suggested a prefilled box. I was worried about the freshness thinking of stuff you find at local big box stores that sits for months and she assured me these are made fresh on site. So, picked up a couple pounds. The location and building are nothing outstanding, I mean nothing about it screamed that the chocolate would be great but......got home and my other half tried it and I tried it and I am like OH MY GOD... these are the best chocolates I have ever had in my life. I mean I am not a huge chocolatier but I have had many different chocolates in my life from some good places like Sarris in Pa or Malley's but these, Anastasiades Chocolates are on a whole different level. I mean, anytime I have bought a large package of chocolate I usually find that half of them taste horrible. I am not kidding, every single one in the mixed pack were amazing. I brought some to my 91 year old grandma in Indiana, she was like those are the best chocolates I have ever had in my life.

Anyway, I don't know how this place is not worldwide, it is that good. I don't know what their secret is but it tastes so fresh, so flavorful, do not let the mediocre storefront and/or location, the magic that is happening in the kitchen is next level, the flavor, I mean, unreal. Amazing chocolates!! Now for the service and experience! I called them yesterday to see if they had any choc covered strawberries and they said you need to order them a day in advance. The guy answering the phone said he was the owner and he could have some the following day. I said no problem except I wanted to surprise my wife for our 20th anniversary because I knew she would love them. He immediately said, give me a few hours and I can make that happen. THIS OWNER went to the store and bought strawberries and dipped them for me that afternoon yet. I was humbled at this owner. I'm sure he had many other things to do but made a decision to bless me. Ohhhh geez. I don't even know where to begin. I have never been particularly fond of chocolate. My wife, however, lives for it, and so I wondered in after already indulging at Johnnie's next door, hoping to burn off a couple calories. Big mistake. The candies are mostly made on site, and the sweet smell practically punches you in the face, immediately making you forget that you just devoured donuts and should NOT be looking for a snack. The shop seems a bit small at first, but have no doubts about the number of options available. I admit that I was clueless and lost at first, but an employee was quick to come to my rescue with recommendations (and a couple samples). Delicious truffles, candied fruits, and hooooly cow, the salted caramels... give this place a shot, and see for yourself. Words don't...
