Jalisco Express — Restaurant in North Canton

I called these amazing folks wanting to cater a taco bar for my wifes 40th birthday. They are newer and explained that they had not catered an event before, but if I was willing to give them a shot, they would love to do it. This came out to be the best decision ever. They worked with me to come up with a menu and returned with a cost that I thought was more than fair. The communication through the entire process was flawless... I was really excited. The day of the party, I showed up to pick up all the food... it was hot, fresh, and waiting on me right when they said. All of our guests ate until they were full and we still had left overs. Every single person raved about the quality, freshness, taste, and flavors. I heard multiple times that this was some of the best Mexican food ever. Some of our guests, ourselves included, are involved with or on the board for local associations and clubs in the area. Quickly the talk became where the food came from and how to get in contact with them for future events. Just tried Jalisco Express for supper. I ordered online and picked up to eat at home. The food is fantastic, honestly very much better than most of the indoor sit down Mexican restaurants in the area, but with the convenience of a drive through. The portions are generous and the prices provide a great value. The presentation was also very good, especially for to-go food. We tried three different types of the street tacos and they were all wonderful. The street tacos came three to an order, with a seperatly packed side of rice and beans, and a couple little cups of hot salsa, and mild green salsa. The meal also comes with little cups of red salsa with pleasant, mild heat, along with a bag of fresh tortilla chips. The tacos we had were generously stuffed with meat, diced red onion and fresh cilantro, with some lime wedges on the side. Everything was packaged neatly, and the whole meal was ready to go in 10 minutes from when I ordered. If you are in the mood for great Mexican food, especially if you want carry out, and want vastly better quality than a fast food taco joint, you must try this gem. Okay if you like Mexican food I have just found your heaven. It is so flavorful with generous portions and not expensive. I know this is cheesy but my palate is still dancing from the taste of their salsa and Fajita. Their queso is out of this world! You have got to try them. They are Jalisco Express in North Canton on Wise. If I had known they were just a takeout I would never have tried them but they showed up on my GrubHub so I thought I'd give them a shot and they passed with flying colors.
