Maybe it was just a bad day but I felt unwelcome. I was asked when I walked in if I knit or crocheted and upon my answer of crocheting and planning to teach myself to knit in the very near future, there was no further conversation with me. I was just planning to browse and as I did so the group of ladies knitting went on about how they've always knitted and didn't get the point of crochet and that they would never and I was appalled. It's fine that you don't want to but that doesn't mean you need to bash someone else's hobby especially as they can hear you. I felt very awkward the whole time I browsed and honestly wasn't impressed by their selection. I left without buying anything and I said to have a nice day as no one else made a move to. I don't think I'll be back, it's the only one near here but not worth it. I'd rather drive the hour to another yarn store that I've been to where it's way more welcoming, way better selection, and no bitties shaming my hobby (which btw, I both knit and crochet now and I love them both. Looking into dying my own yarn...

I'd like to tell you that this is a wonderful store full of great yarns and every accessory you'd ever need, but the owner is so sullen and taciturn - I feel like I'm imposing on her on the rare occasion I venture into her establishment (usually because I need something I can't wait to order online or find elsewhere). The one time I tried to ask her about a certain type of yarn I needed for a project, she was singularly unhelpful; again, she made me feel as if I were imposing on her.

There's a lot of yarn in this store, and I'm sure it's all great, but shopping there is so unpleasant I prefer to buy...

I'm visiting the area from out of town. No one was friendly, I felt like I was imposing on the staff for being there. It's knitting-centric, nothing for crochet, spinning, or weaving. They were so unfriendly that I had to tell them to have a nice day when I left. I was really looking forward to visiting this shop and I left highly disappointed. I will not recommend this...
