Literally the worst massage I've ever gotten. The tennis ball I used at home is a better massage then the therapist here.

WORSE MASSAGE EVER

1. Asking for tip from the start
2. didn't use oil until I asked (massage oil was ice cold)
3. I had to direct her where to massage. She didn't even massage my arms or neck!
4. when I asked to go Harder, the therapist stopped and asked for tip. I gave $15 bc I wasn't impressed with what I've gotten so far ($88 total), then she was insulted.

I was able to understand thru her thick Korean accent that she wants $40-60 tip. I smiled I said I'm sorry. I finished the rest of the massage in pure awkwardness bc she was upset.

For $88 I got to 50 minutes with light pinches. This is equivalent to a toddler slapping my back...

Yup this is THAT type of place. I was "happy" at the "end." Let me back up as im getting a "head" of myself. 1) you do have to pay before hand. 2) if you pay w/ a cc its an extra $3 service fee. Ie for an hr massage its $70+ 3$ service fee. I asked her to go strong...and boy she did go strong. All my muscles were worked out. I completely relaxed. Oh the best part...the table i laid upon...was heated. Which was nice considering it was cold outside. So ya back to the beginning..so after she took the hot towels off to wipe away the excess oil..she lightly/ tantalizingly finger strokes my back, my legs, and everything in-between and...ill let your imagination turn...

Came here on my birthday bc I have been going here since I moved to Charleston and today is my birthday, I was denied service!!! I will me or come here again. How are you going to tell me that you all won't have any availability until 12 today and I said that will be fine and you still tell me no try another day. Well I just tried another spa and they were excellent and didn't turn down money. You all need to do better and learn how to speak English better. I will never give you all money ever again. Everybody reading this the Refresh Spa is amazing in Northwoods Mall...
