If you’re looking for a great spot near Charleston, look no further! Not only was Taylor’s home extremely clean, aesthetically pleasing and private, but the home was also stocked with everything you could need! It was in a great location—within 30 minutes of everywhere I wanted to check out as a first time visitor and everything was an easy drive. Something that really stood out to me was how safe I felt. As a young solo female traveled, safety was my #1 priority. With taylor being on the property, I felt incredibly safe. He was also kind enough to show me around some local restaurants and bars and was great company. He also has a super cute and friendly dog! Taylor has another great airbnb property if you’re looking for something a little bigger. He pays attention to the smallest details and even asked me what he could do to make future guests even more comfortable. It’s clear that taylor cares a lot about his guests and is passionate about hosting. I will definitely stay at Taylor’s properties again...
Read moreStayed at The Tropic for a bachelor party with 9 guys. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The location is great because you're not in the heart of downtown but only about a 10 minute Uber away--and Uber's were very easy to get. The neighborhood itself is nice and quiet and walkable. We walked over to Tom's Brauhaus for beers one night and had a great time. The AirBnb itself is very well positioned to handle a large group like ours. As noted in the description, there are 4 single beds, 2x blow up mattresses, and 3x full+ beds, so with 9 people, everyone got their own bed. The common areas (including outdoor enclosed patio and deck patio) are also well sized to handle that group. We used the kitchen and BBQ to cook and both worked great--you're also about a 7 minute drive from a Publix / ABC store, so easy to get stocked. Taylor himself was proactive and responsive. All-in, we had a great time in Charleston and the Tropic...
Read moreWe had an awesome time staying in this Airbnb! Charleston is my hometown and I came with my family for a visit - we visited with two little boys and a teen girl, plus me and my husband. The space was perfect for a family - we had plenty of room, including plenty of bathroom space, and the house was amazingly well stocked for everything a family could need (including a stool so the four year old could reach the bathroom sink!). Having Paradiso across the parking lot made it feel like we were staying at a resort - we went to the market each morning for coffee and had dinner by the pool one evening as well. We can’t wait to return - this truly felt like a home...
