Helping Hands Thrift Store Bothell — Local services in North Creek

Whoever the disrespectful & ignorant mouthy woman was on the phone earlier. I WANT A MANAGER ASAP!!!

I called at 2:25 pm to ask about the rental assistance/HELP project, my friend literally gets assistance from Helping Hands. The uneducated woman answered saying “um we are a thrift store you got the wrong number or something” & I said “oh, I was looking at the website for the charity assistance etc” the woman says “yea we don’t do that I’m hanging up now” and hung up IN MY FACE.

I called back angrily stating how disrespectful and rude she was to hang up on somebody that needs help and asked to speak to a manager. She stated there is no manager, I asked for her name and she said “I don’t have to give you my name” and hung up AGAIN in my face.

I called again and she was so terrified to answer the phone like a grown woman and had her coworker answer instead.

This is disgusting and repulsive behavior from an organization meant to help others in need. Shame...

Great fresh selection every day along with awesome .49 cent clothing section everyday as well!!!! Can’t beat that . I would highly recommend their tools section. They have seem to got a little bit of everything.

Only reason for two stars and not 4/5 is For poor customer service. And they have short hours of operation. Additionally, some of the closing staff are really bothersome when the time is an hour before close. They continue to be distracting throughout that whole hour constantly reminding everyone that they are closing in a pushy way that makes me and other shoppers feel uncomfortable, especially when your spending a lot of money- I do think one announcement is sufficient they do not need to hover over customers in that manner...

Otherwise store is me second choice for thrifting cus they have a good rotation on items and quality items, as well as offering delivery services for some furniture...

Turned around in rush hour traffic to check this place out. They were literally turning off the OPEN sign as I walked in. Not wanting to be an a hole I asked if they’d take one last customer. Girl at the counter said they’d just closed. Seeing as how the store was still full of customers, I said, “cool, I’ll just do a loop around the store and be two minutes tops. I’m not gonna buy anything just want to see what kind of stuff you guys have”. She said no and told me to leave. Okay, I would literally be out before you’re even done with the customers in your line, but if that’s how you wanna treat your customers that are trying to be reasonable and still respect your time, that’s on you. How rude. I just wanted to see if this place was worth making a trip to come back to. That’s it! Just one little loop around your tiny store… But I’m not one to argue with someone making minimum wage so I left....
