Very torn here. The food was very good. Well above average. Service, however, was a disaster. First off, with several open tables, it took a long time for anyone to take our order. Once order was placed, it took a very long time to get our food. Well, it was a very long time for one of us to get our food. The other (me) it seems they gave my dinner away to someone else. My wife was half done eating by the time my dinner was eventually served. I'm not sure how you can give my dinner to someone else, but that's what they said they did. Then theres the beer. I ordered one beer. It came fast, but after 2 sips of beer, they brought me another. I said I didn't order a 2nd beer. He said ok, you can just have it. I said I do not want to pay for 2 beers and are you sure? He said it's yours. Thanks, I said. At this point, I was not expecting a discount on my order, but felt that would be a nice customer service gesture considering they gave my dinner to someone else. When the Bill came, not only was there no discount, but they charged me for 2 beers. I said I only ordered one beer and someone brought a 2nd and said it's "on them" for the mistake. She leaves to "check" what happened. She comes back and says that I asked a 2nd waitress for a 2nd beer. That is completely false. The 2nd beer came only after I had 2 sips of the first beer. Either way, they took the 2nd beer off the bill. Great food but terrible...
Read moreLa Patrona offers a delightful Mexican dining experience with rich flavors and authentic dishes. During our visit, we tried the Chicken a la Diabla, Shrimp with Mushrooms and Garlic, and the Meat Taco Salad, and each dish left us impressed.
The Chicken a la Diabla was the standout dish, featuring tender chicken bathed in a fiery, smoky red sauce that packed just the right amount of heat. If you enjoy a kick of spice, this dish is a must-try! The balance of flavors and the freshness of the ingredients were evident in every bite.
The Shrimp with Mushrooms and Garlic was another highlight. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, juicy, and seasoned to perfection, while the mushrooms added a savory earthiness. The garlic was not overpowering, instead providing a fragrant depth that complemented the dish beautifully.
Finally, the Meat Taco Salad was both hearty and refreshing. The crispy tortilla shell held seasoned meat, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and a dollop of creamy dressing, making it a perfect choice for those looking for a lighter yet satisfying option.
The service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. Whether you're craving spice, savory flavors, or a mix of both, La Patrona delivers a true taste of Mexico. We’ll definitely...
Read moreWe've been on the lookout for a really good Mexican restaurant in Snohomish county. We're still looking 😞. Mom ordered the enchilada/chili relleno combo, and margarita on the rocks. Hubby ordered the enchilada/tamale and a beer. I had the tacos al carbon with chicken and a Pina colada. I don't really care for onions, but can tolerate them in salsa and cooked in food. But I'm finding it hard to believe, that even a person that likes onions, would want as much onion as was in those tacos. The onion to meat ratio was about the same. I kicked about half out and moved on. The tacos didn't have as much flavor as I expected but either the chicken or the tortillas, I'm not sure which, had a chard flavor that overpowered everything else. All in all, it wasn't bad, but still pretty past for the course when it comes to Mexican food in Snohomish county. Don't forget to hit the like button if you liked my review, or found...
