ALDI — Local services in North Miami Beach

ALDI is my top 3 groceries and I will also love shopping here. I have cooked numerous meals and saved so much money and/or got the most out of my money each time I shop there.

I specially like this location (aside from the one in coconut grove) because it is clean, organized, easy to find what you’re looking for and spacious.

Aldi has everything you need for many dishes. I love their blue berries, strawberries, seasonings, canned goods, produce, breads, cheese and meat selection!

There is more than enough parking. It is easy to drive into off the street. Everyone is nice including the customers and staff.

The lines move pretty quick and everyone seems to know the routine when it’s time for check out. This location is by far my favorite place. I have one close to me but the environment is not as welcoming, clean and it as organized.

I know they will be acquiring Winn Dixie’s …I can’t wait to see more Aldi stores in our neighborhoods. I hope they keep their quality, great prices for consumers, and excellent service as they rise to the top!

These meals I have shared are made with ingredients all from Aldi. The meats and potatoes are from Aldi I cut them in cubes myself and it was perfect!!

Highly recommend doing your shopping here. As a single woman with no kids $200 every two weeks keeps my cabinets and fridge/freezer Full!

Lastly, the pot roast dinner came out phenomenal! I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do. I will edit this review and add videos of the actual location.

It's new, so clean. It's small, but has the essentials. Prices are outstanding. The chicken, pork, beef, cold cuts, cheeses have all been good. The produce selection is slim and by the time you get there if you go in the early afternoon--like me--more limited. I had to go to Publix to get the rest of my fruits/veggies and dairy (since I need small size half/half and milk, and they only carry larger sizes). They off some gluten free items for those of us wo eat GF: frozen pizza, frozen "hot pockets" type sandwiches, as well as sliced bread, GF sandwich wrap (the round foldable kind), and muffin/etc mixes.

The GF wrap was okay. The sliced bread not so great. I won't buy the white/multigrain sliced again. The frozen pizza was fine. Reminded me a bit of Frankie's Pizza from Bird Road in the crunch and the flavor.

The house brand canned veggies were comparable to brand names (carrots, green beans, potatoes, mushrooms, etc). The shredded cheeses were fine, as were the sliced.

Do remember to bring your own bags. I always take about half a dozen nylon or burlap shopping bags. I never use the carts (if I can't carry it in the bags, I don't shop; I stop when I can't carry it anymore.) You ahve to bag your own groceries (which is no biggie, as we do that at Publix, too).

It's not a large store, you but you can get your essentials and then some. Prices...

I absolutely love Aldi, It's exactly as where I come from and I'm so happy the chain started here in the US. Dear Aldi, KEEP YOUR EMPLOYEES IN CHECK please. I got slapped in the face by an employee, named Widner. Yes that just happened. The chain is just like in Europe (where plastic shopping bags are illegal and you bring your own to every store). At check out I put my bags open in the cart. Widner starts throwing the stuff exactly next to it. I place them inside and he hits me in the face. (By accident?? I don't even know) he then starts telling me bagging is not allowed because "I might get hurt". I'm astonished so I step back and I say "ok no problem but it's the first time this happens". He then calls over the manager to tell him that "I have an issue". I'm totally blown away with the arrogance. I don't have time for this. I ask him when I said I had an issue? I only said this has never happened and then he calls the manager. I don't even say anything and bag my items later. He then kept giving me apologies with a rude tone. I will not take a fake apology either you prick. I will avoid this store if possible but definitely this employee because it's unacceptable what...
