I am literally writing this review as I sit in this dining area of this North Miami Beach Chik Fil A. This is my neighborhood Chik Fil A, and I was extatic that we finally got one in our Neighborhood. I must say, the quality of service is DIFFERENT compared to other Chik Fil A I have frequented. It is March 12,2024 around 10:20 AM in South Florida. I came in , as usual, mind you I am always here at this establishment, at least on my days off. Today was no different. I ordered, the Number 6 with an infasis with bacon. I'm dining in. I get my order ready to put my jelly on my breakfast sandwich, there's no egg and cheese. I'm like ohhh. So I go up to the counter, and proceed to let one of the cashier's know hey, they left out the egg and cheese on my sandwich. She's like ohhh, and proceed to charge me. I'm like hey, why are you charging me, when I already paid for the combo. So apparently, upon further review, they did not charge me for the egg and cheese. I wasn't upset as much as I was aggravated. Maybe it's just me. I have completely given up on business and THIER employees. Due to Covid, there have been an absolute slack as far as customer service, and all around mediocre service across the board, not just Chik Fil A. So Now, I'm like, let me speak to a manager. I proceed to explain to her that a mistake was made in your part, this is what it is. She's like yeah, we're just going to charge you for it. I'm like I already paid, this is your mistake, I should not have to be charged again for your mistake. She's like well they didn't charge you for it. I said, I clearly ordered the number 6. I should not have to pay for your mistake. Point is, the money was not the problem. The lack of customer service, and the lack of customer appreciation was. If you made a mistake, fix it. I proceeded to let her know I will be contacting corporate for this. Well, this supervisor or manager, I'm not sure what she is, proceeded to berate her coworker, and let her know that I said I will be contacting corporate in front of me for the mistake in Spanish instead of using her critical thinking and say hey, this one is on us. Even with that, you don't treat your coworkers like that. Just take them to the side and explain the mistake. I ended up paying for the difference which just annoyed me. Do Better. Apparently this is a privately owned Chik Fil A. That sounds about right. No wonder. I must say, though, for the most part, the employees are genuinely nice. Service ain't...
Read moreI waited a while to leave this review. Mostly hoping my feelings would change but after over 50 visits here, it is safe to say I’ve had so many more poor experiences than good ones.
As a former employee of chick-fil-a (not this location), I know what their standards are and these aren’t it. Cold food, LONG waits, no customer service available despite the overwhelming amount of employees they have on any given afternoon.
My most recent visit took place earlier this week for breakfast & waited over 20 minutes after placing my order to receive my meal, which was not fresh or warm.
Another time while going in to pick-up a mobile order, my order was not ready and all employees were over by the drive-thru window conversating loudly about non-work matters. I had to call someone’s attention in order to be assisted.
There was a time I went in between lunch/dinner time and asked for extra pickles on my sandwich (has happened more than once while ordering in drive-thru too) and didn’t receive them. Luckily this time I was dining in and could ask for them. Again, I stood at the counter waiting for someone to assist me but didn’t happen. It wasn’t until one of the managers (who was dining with his family in the back) came over to ask if I needed something. He asked for someone to get a side of pickles. They did about 2 minutes later and as placed them on the counter… didn’t try to figure out if it was for a customer. So I waited another 5 minutes to receive my pickles.
I would be so much more understanding but this place has been opened for months now and still there is a HUGE lack of communication. I’m not sure what else is exactly lacking but there’s a lot. I really hope they figure it out soon because my die-hard love for chick-fil-a has slowly subsided and I’m actually sad about it. I would always look forward to opening up my bag of food and biting down on the juiciest and warmest chicken, buttery bread and sweet pickles. The crunchy waffle fries with chick-fil-a sauce used to be...
Read moreI never thought in a million years that I would write a negative review about Chick-fil-A. This location is not indicative of what Chick-Fil-A stands for in terms of quality service. A few days ago, I ordered food and used their delivery service; it took the food twice as long as the stated delivery time for the food to arrive. The nail in the coffin was today; I was in the drive thru line for 52 minutes to receive my Cobb salad. The way the drive thru lane is constructed, I was stuck. Chick-fil-A is known for quick and courteous service. Apparently, the employees at this location missed that particular portion of the training. The infuriating part was when I saw seven workers standing to the side within the drive thru just having a conversation for an extended period of time and not working; I have never seen this at any other Chick-fil-A location. Then after the long wait, when I finally got to the front of the line, I was asked to park my vehicle so they can bring the food to my car; remember, I just had a Cobb salad. Again, this was a first for me at a Chick-fil-A drive thru line. Things were absolutely disorganized and it seemed that they operated like other subpar fast food chains. I was excited that a Chick-fil-A was opening closer to my house. However, I rather drive to the Aventura or Miami Lakes Chick-fil-A locations, which always provide the outstanding customer service that Chick-fil-A is known for, than to deal with this new...
