DXL Big + Tall — Local services in North Miami Beach

Store had a decent selection of things for the sizes and styles they vary. Employees were a little short and kind of rude. We had a belt emergency and ordered online, Uber there and as soon as I said what I was picking up the attitude showed up. “Well that’s why you’re supposed to wait to get the EMAIL!” … I hope that was a fluke. There were two employees in the front with one customer checking out and another just wondering around. They were not busy and the rudeness wasn’t necessary at all. Then for 20min they couldn’t find one belt. So I selected another and said I’ll just exchange it. You would have thought I said something out of this world ludicrous! She just went off saying “you can’t just EXCHANGE it! You have to return it and wait for the money to be refunded and then buy a new one!!” I laughed and said what if I can afford to buy another belt now before the money is returned 😱🤣 she didn’t find the humor in that at all and simply went back to looking for the belt instead of checking me out. Interestingly enough; once I had said that, they quickly found the belt. the Uber driver was the winner here because I was charged $18 to have him wait in addition to the trip...

I needed to update some of my wardrobe and decided to go to DXL, located in North Miami Beach, Fl. To say that my experience was a PLEASURE, would be the understatement of the year! This store is well stocked, clean, merchandise easily accessible and clearly marked! The Store Manager, Ms. Dishara Collier is the definition of PROFESSIONALISM! She cares about the customer needs and will bend over backwards to make her customers satisfied! I have passed by this store for many years and I am so happy that I stopped in for the first time and it won’t be the last! In a time when customer service is lacking in so many businesses, it was a joy to shop at this establishment! If I could give DXL a 10 Star review, that would not be enough! I will be recommending DXL OF NORTH MIAMI BEACH AND MS. DISHARA COLLIER TO ALL MY...

Having just arrived in the area I needed some clothes for climate. I stopped in to pick up a few pieces and found the selection and prices to be pretty on-par with the other DXL's I've visited in other regions throughout the US.

People seem to complain about the prices at these stores, but frankly the prices are considerably less than what you'd pay for low volume pieces at other retain outlets.

Sales associate was attentive without being intrusive, which is so very rarely the case in any apparel store. She skillfully handled a curmudgeonly gentleman with far more grace than I would have, so kudos there.
