When it came to the sales experience it was very positive, Jean was very nice. I went to store, received very good hospitality and felt I left with a great deal. I purchased two mattresses and two box springs. However, when it was time to pick up the product, the mattress I was promised was not available at the warehouse. They tried to give me a very cheap mattress that was "equivalent to the price of my purchased mattress". That specific mattress was offered to me at the store and I declined to take the day of purchase. As a result, I was basically strong armed to pay an additional $150 ($75 each) for better quality mattresses. Furniture to go offered a refund, but at this point I needed the mattresses and would have wasted my time (approximately 1 hour) at store and (approximately 2 hours going back and forth) at distributor warehouse. I explained to the rep my situation with my kids and how I wanted a small bunk bed for my two toddlers (who are under 5 years old and present at time of purchase) and I was assured the bed would be small because they are toddlers and my main goal with the new furniture is to optimize the space in their room. I showed the lady exactly what I am looking for. The bed that was delivered to me was over 5 feet and took up half of the room. Once the dresser is placed in there, there’s no room for anything else.
