My husband and I always love to travel around looking for card shops. We stopped in to check them out and were pleasantly surprised on the amount of singles they had. The store owner was very personable, knowledgeable and engaging. We found a pile of singles that we needed for our binders and after talking about Pokémon in general we decided to make my first ever trade (some of our sealed product at home for all the singles). The owner even found and gave us some freebie cards for our travels to add to my Turtwig binder since our items we agreed to trade with were at home and it took us a 2 hour round trip there and back. Was a total win-win for us both as I was able to finish my 151 set and add a plethora of cards to others, while he got some of our sealed collection in return. The guy handling this business wasn’t too bad. However the business seems kind of sketchy. It’s a business inside another business and the transaction was done in cash with no receipt of the transaction. Also if your going to this business to sell your cards be prepared to be asked a lot of questions. Like how’s your knowledge with the price of these cards, how much did you buy them for, how much are you expecting to get, would you be upset if you didn’t get back what you paid for them. Obviously none of the answers to these questions benefit the seller and only benefit the buyer in a shady way of obtaining knowledge to scam you. Needed a particular color of Dragon Shield sleeves and found some on this shop’s online storefront. Sleeves were reasonably priced, packed well, and shipped in a timely fashion. When one box of a color was not available, they were quick to offer a replacement and also included some nice extras in the box.
