The Natural Pet Enrichment Center — Local services in North Royalton

I am so grateful for this store that I don't even know where to begin. First, about 2 years ago, a staff member here was so kind and listened to my desperate tale of anguish over my then-dying cat who had been falsely diagnosed with FIP. I had been keeping the cat alive via forced syringe-feeding for months. I told her that I had exhausted my medical options and was willing to literally try anything, including voodoo. She informed me that the store was carrying a new product then: bovine colostrum in a bottle. I won't speak to actual causation or venture into medical land, as we are merely lay people, but I am convinced that that single bottle may have contributed in great part to saving my cat. My dying cat literally went NUTS over the stuff, gulping down syringes. He also then began to show interest in another product from this store, which was an Inaba brand "Churu" cat treat in a tube, specifically the pink colored tube. My dying, extremely anemic cat went from wanting to eat nothing from suddenly eating these 2 items eagerly on his own. And this crucially bought him some time until the real underlying cause of his problem was uncovered. It turned out that he had swallowed a stringy piece of fabric, which evaded detection via x-ray.

Apart from the amazing life-saving and totally timely availability of a new product that helped us out in a pinch, this store is just basically a paragon of natural pet food stores. They are constantly amending and improving their selection, concomitant with cutting edge pet nutrition research. Just eavesdrop on any of the staff as they make the case for feeding pets a healthier diet, and you can just hear in their voices the passion, the personal investment of time in researching available information, and also, an awareness of the politics surrounding Big Pet Food. I also place a great amount of value in the environment/mood/aura when I walk in a business, and I always feel genuinely welcome and valued when I shop here. What a treasure...

I can not even express how happy I am to have found this place. My dog has been dealing with a plethora of problems, I had the sneaky suspicion it was linked to her recent food the Vet had recommended. I went to this store with a bit of hope they could send me in a general direction to figure out a possibility better food option. Boy oh boy I got so much more. Upon arrival they greeted me kindly and were quick to listen to my predicament. I explained it was for my dog, that I didn't have with me and they asked to see a picture of my baby ❤️....so they can put a face to a name!....I continued to tell them all my issues with her current care and they were happy to help. Not only did they help me game plan a plan of action moving forward with proper diet change, but also gave me soooooo many options to fit our families needs for our pup. New food, treats, skin supplements, bone broth, and kidney health supplements. If that wasn't amazing enough and a huge relief....they also sent me home with so many samples of other things to incorporate and see how milli (our perfect dogo) likes them. Then they informed me at check out that they offer refusal discounts, and $5 for every $200 spent and you can bank them up! This place already had won over my heart and now they won over my wallet. I couldn't speak higher of not only their care and concern but their willingness to share such helpful sound knowledge. If you are interested in making the best choices for your pets health and possibly questioning the advice you have taken from your Vet....go talk with these kind people. In one visit I've gained a new kind of family and hope for my dogs remaining years on this earth. Thank you so...

Review for Natural Pet Enrichment store

I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience at [Natural Pet Enrichment store]. My dog did not like the food I purchased, and when I attempted to return it, I encountered several issues that have led me to decide never to shop here again.

First, I had taken advantage of a promotion where you buy five boxes of dog food and get one free. My dog disliked the flavor of one of the boxes, so I attempted to return it. Although the store guarantees a full refund, they refused to honor this because the box I returned happened to be the free one from the promotion.

Furthermore, when I asked to swap one of the unopened boxes for a different flavor, the store wanted to charge me the FULL PRICE for the new box instead of honoring the sale price I initially paid! This was both unfair and frustrating.

To add to the unpleasant experience, one of the staff members, a petite woman with curly black hair and glasses, was extremely rude and unprofessional. On the other hand, the owner and his wife were kind and welcoming, which makes this situation even more unfortunate.

Given the store’s refusal to honor their return policy and the unpleasant behavior of some staff, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. It’s a shame because I used to spend $200-$300 per visit, contributing significantly to their revenue.

I hope this review serves as a wake-up call for the management to improve their return policy and customer service. Until then, I will be finding another pet store...
