Jet's Pizza — Local services in North Township

UPDATE: I tried Jet's again since I saw a review of someone eating the 4 corner pizza and the CRUNCH I heard made me crave pizza. I did the order through TEXT message again and this time I did the 4 corner pizza with hamburger, mushroom and onion. It was GREAT - in fact, so much better than the last time. Cooked perfectly with a great crunch. I didn't realize you can also flavor your crust if you wish. I did the TURBO crust which was a mix of several seasonings and it's definitely recommended!

I also ordered the medium size antipasta salad - which was okay. not the freshest salad, but it was full and definitely good for 2-3 people. I added a few additional toppings I had at home, but next time I will try their wings.

I went inside the very small establishment in Hammond to pick it up this time. The gentleman working at the counter was super friendly, everything was on time and ready for pickup. I also added a 16 oz bottle of sugar free soda. That was like $2.50 for the soda, so it's not the cheapeast.

I WILL come again...I thought I wouldn't be back, but I'm glad I tried it again!

.............................. First time trying Jet Pizza. I ordered through "text message" which was unique but it offered a free delivery discount. I just got the four corner type pizza with sausage and mushroom and onion.

This is a step UP from a Pizza Hut Pan pizza, but still in the same caliber as a Papa Johns/Domino's as it's also a chain. It wasn't something I need to repeat and it wasn't really that cheap.

Langel's Pizza is 100% better.

I didn't interact with anyone but the delivery driver, who I'm not sure they even work for Jet. At least the pizza was HOT and FRESH. So I gave 3 stars for the quality. Less stars because taste wasn't "blow my tastebuds"...

I have ordered pizza from here in the past, but Jan. 9th, @ 7:20p, something went terribly wrong. There was a bad case of "cross contamination" or it was deliberate. I ate two pieces of the four I was given and ended up in the hospital. Just getting out this morning on Jan. 12th. I knew something was wrong when I was given 4 pieces instead of the 2 pieces I ordered. I remembered it wasn't tasting the same, but I was too hungry to not eat. It's pizza! How do you mess that up? I'm glad that no children ate any. If this was some kind of joke, then joke is on you! I can't afford to return there! This shouldn't happened and it's sad because I really did like your pizza. The clowns who worked that night should be investigated! My spirit tells me it was intentional! I wanted to make this post in case it happened to someone else that same night. I do recall seeing another ordered waiting for pick-up. If anyone ordered pizza on that date, around same time, please comment your results either way, I would greatly appreciate it. To the owner, the other two pieces will be tested for food contamination. You should hope they don't find anything that should not have been there. I won't tell people not to eat there, because I truly believe this was an...

Update : I did as the response to the review asked, sent all the info they asked for and never heard a word from anyone. So much for making it right.

The food was delicious, however the hassle to get it was not worth it. We ordered online and were told 30-40 minutes for delivery. Luckily around the 45 minute mark I checked the status and the order had been cancelled! So we called and asked why it was cancelled and was told it hadn't been. Asked then where is it and were told they'd call the driver and call us back. No call back. So we called again and were given some run-around about driver error when it was blatantly obvious they had just cancelled our order! We were told they were making all the food again fresh and it would be delivered in another 30 - 40 minutes. So two hours after originally ordering, it was delivered and it was pretty tasty. So if you want good food that you may or may not actually receive, this is the place to go! It was good, but not good enough for what we went...
