Great service, will definitely go back if I ever have a problem with the computer that needs fixing.
When I got a new computer and monitor set up, the computer wouldn't display anything to the monitor, so I brought it down and asked if they could do a diagnostic check, and they were able to figure out the problem and get it fixed during the time of the diagnostic, so they got that fixed without any extra payments needed.
Once I got it home and plugged it back into the monitor, it came back up as "No Signal" So I called them and they said that they'd take another look, this time at the entire set up to see what the problem was, free of charge thanks to their warranty service. They got the entire setup, up and running within about twenty minutes and I got everything home and running that day.

Read moreWhile on vacation in Florida, my Sony Viao laptop was overheating and became difficult to turn on and off. Thinking that the problem was a faulty on/off switch, I took the laptop to a nearby computer repair shop which reported after 2 days that the machine was very unstable, that I should get all important files off the computer (if I could) and should look for a new computer.
I lugged the laptop back to Northampton and brought it to Northampton Computer Repair, which had helped me out before. Chis took the machine in and gave me an estimated cost , which was dependent upon the amount of time he worked out on it. Within a couple of days, Chris had diagnosed & fixed the problem (faulty power management system), explained the cause of the problem & solution, and charged me the low end of his quoted price.

Chris (I think...) listened to my problem, took a look at my laptop and had the proper diagnosis in 2 mins (battery). When I asked if it were something I could fix on my own with a little help from YouTube, he not only encouraged me to do so, but was happy to help; in fact he gave me the tools!
I asked "how much can I give you for the help?" and he said "Oh, no. We give everyone a few minutes." I asked to pay for the tools (a few specialized little screwdrivers) and again, he refused, insisting I was doing him a favor since he had so many.
