The best thing about Mind's Eye is that people who work here are nice, open minded, and will conduct business in a sacred way. I came in a few weeks ago to get sage. I don't touch the sage until it's given to me in the Lakota way. Danielle was so nice and had no problem giving me the sage and performing the small giving/receiving ceremony and she asked about why I did that and I explained why. I am by no means a member of the Lakota Nations or perfect, but being exposed to their teachings and spending time with a few Lakota wakan iska in the sweat lodge, I have to honor the ancestors and try my best to conduct myself in a sacred way. I went back on January 28 to purchase more sage and the person working was very nice and allowed me to receive the sage in the sacred way. They gifted me an extra bundle and I appreciated so much. I saw Danielle again and was so appreciative of the gift. I will be passing that gift along to someone else. It meant so much to me. When I left I got emotional. Before I went to Mind's Eye, I received a gift and when I received the gift and warm welcome from everyone, I knew that the Ancestors and my spirit guides were taking care of me. It was quite overwhelming. I had to pull over and I was in tears for the next 20-25 minutes. I just want to thank Danielle and everyone for always taking care of me and I hope I can give back as much as they've given me....I went to this place in the Brea mall (I wont give out their name because I don't want to advertise them) and the people were horrible. They mocked me for wanting to receive the sage in a sacred way and made me feel very bad. I will never set foot in that place and when I have to go in the direction of that business, I stay as far away as I can and I don't even look in that direction....As long as Mind's Eye is open (I hope forever), they will always have my business and prayers. Thank you, Mind's Eye, thank you Danielle, and thank you everyone that works...
Read moreI absolutely love this place. I’ve visited the local metaphysical/crystal stores around my area and decided to go a little farther to this one because nothing at my near stores really enticed me. This place is literally JUST DIFFERENT. The aura inside is amazing, the decorations are beautiful and the selection is so diverse and amazing. I spent an hour in there just gazing at their amazing crystal selections. They have a huge very well organized wall of labeled stones and carried some of the rarer stones like Moldavite. Their sage is also comparatively cheaper than most crystal stores. The staff were extremely helpful to all the customers, even though it was very past everyone of the staff were helping. I see why this place is so popular and will definitely happy drive 40 minutes to visit. They even have a cool rewards program (?) where if you spend a certain amount of money, there’s a little gifting booth at the back where you pick baggies and win small cute prizes. I got 2 $2 discount gift cards and a pack of incense for free! And since I was a first time shopper they gave free goodie bag of a small selenite and another $2 gift card. I picked out a beautiful crystal and didn’t know what it was and one of the staff was very knowledgeable and immediately identified what it was. I wish I took more images of the store itself but I didn’t. I’ll be back for sure! I definitely recommend all rock hounds...
Read moreThis place is Aaaamazing and I'm forever grateful to have found this crystal and stone store, this store is hidden gem. This store should have more clientel and more business, this store is by far the best customer service/owner service I've ever encounter living in Los Angeles. I am born and raised and I moved here locally and after finding out about this place oh man please take my credit card...hahaha I'm kidding. I've been here many times bought so many items, sometimes I just go because of the vibes, and the energy that the family owned business brings and it makes me feel good and they owner or the people who works there are very attentive to customers, and the knowledge woooow remarkable very impressed. I like how they throw little cute prizes at the end of each purchase very thoughtful and personable. Keep in mind, some times there's a wait line to get inside the store, I suggest if there's a line to bring an umbrella or a hat. You are going to wait, I been there many times before some times there's no wait lines and when there is a wait line it can range from ten minutes to one hour depending how people are standing in line. The Mind's Eye ll is definitely recommended to everyone...I promise you won't regret it, if you're not into crystals or stones just go and educate yourself, get out of the house, get some fresh air, do something different try it here...
