Single party of 1 after work (around 5pm) on a Friday evening (last night, 8/16/24). 10-15min wait to be seated, as it was quite crowded but not grossly so. I was honestly nervous because I don't go to new places by myself anymore and haven't done so since just before Covid. I was seated in the back corner in a mini-booth by the restrooms, which I was feeling some type of way about, until I realized the area smelled very pleasant and was quiet apart from the doors slamming a bit. Actually think I'll request the spot next time I come back lol
My primary waitress arrived in about 5mins and I gotta say, if Michele B isn't a manager she outta be. She has a radiant personality. And she seemed to notice that I was terribly nervous and she sat down across from me to take my order. It helped me relax so much. I wish more people would do this. She was patient and funny and helped me manage ordering with 0 stress. She remained a joy to interact with the entire time.
She even made me smile just from overhearing her interactions with other patrons. She made my experience here absolutely perfect. My table was 0097.
There were 2 other waitresses that delivered parts of my food and they were friendly and sweet too. I didn't manage to get their names though. The food was amazing: bread & butter, Baked Potatoe Soup, Sirloin & Grilled Shrimp and Broccoli. I literally left 2 bites of bread left. I have never been so stuffed. XD
The restroom was clean and smelled great. I left both a cash tip and a tip on my card. I have never left such a big tip for anyone, but Michele B deserved it and this Outback Steakhouse deserves a 10/10. Obviously coming...
Read moreSuper bad experience! To the first gentleman who got our order was the most professional. I do not remember his name but he was awesome. Unfortunately our server was on break or lunch. No problem. But we were just left there. I asked for my stake medium rare but it was well done. I didn’t want to be a Karen so I said nothing. But couldn’t say anything to anyone since we had no server anyway. Someone did come and check on us but other people were getting their refills, asked if they were ok, if they needed anything else, just 100% serviced while we were just there isolated. I’ve never had such bad service and felt excluded from a restaurant. Being a first timer to Outback Steakhouse because I was referred, and since I was told they had the best grilled steaks and an awesome place I couldn’t wait to eat there, but it was truly a disappointment. Mid food I started feeling weird and straight to the bathroom I went. I didn’t feel good so I asked the host for the check, which I was told they’ll let someone know. 15 mins go by nothing. At this point I went to let someone know again but once again I was told to wait, that they will call for someone to get me my check. Finally someone (perhaps the manager) came a bit later and gave me the check then our server finally came to give me the receipt and apologized that she did not know we were even there.
