Mexicana Market carniceria — Restaurant in Norwalk

Got lucky and spotted this place. The market is clean and bright. The staff was friendly. I got one each, chicken and carne asada tacos. The bubbling drink dispensers had horchata, Jamaica, and tamarindo. I got the Jamaica, and went outside, sat in the shade and enjoyed my plate. The chicken was just a bit salty for my taste. The carne asada had the perfect amount of char to it. With cilantro and onions, salsa, a baggie of radishes, cucumbers, and limes. A nice breeze to compliment my lunch made it all oh so relaxing. I been going to this place for over 10 years now and I remember when it used to be good. I don't know if there is new ownership but their food isn't the same any more. The quality isn't all the great and the portions of food they give you now are very small compared to what it was. Take out food such as the burrito was not flavorful and the meat to chunky no flavor in the rice . The last time I stoped in was before covid food tastes much better I should've gone to my first choice place their meat has flavor.. and the cilantro and onions was plentiful along with the hot sauce ...
