Tooth extracted in May. Partial denture to be ready by December. Was informed by the dentist that one other missing tooth left too tight a space to fit in the denture so I would still have a missing tooth. A long wait for a lower front tooth yet no temporary tooth solution authorized. When December appointment finally arrived, one of the teeth fell out of the partial denture and the denture was sent back to the lab. Final fitting, February 21st, the partial denture did not fit. Reimbursed for partial, but not for time etc due to many more visits than expected. As I had moved an hour away in December, it was a significant amount of time and money - what's more, I am walking disabled so I had to have a friend drive me. No member of the staff offered an apology. It was an awful experience. My new dentist scanned my mouth and had a perfect fitting partial denture ready in 3 weeks without any problem fitting ALL the missing teeth, no matter how tight the space. Perhaps UCFS should invest in scanning technology rather than rely on their now outdated methods. I had also had a cavity filled at UCFS in November or thereabouts. When I told my new dentist that it still bothered me, he examined UCFS x-rays and determined that the issue should have been solved with a root canal, not merely a filling - so, another do-over. My dental health is now in good hands, but I fear for patients that are...

I can not express how grateful I am for the experience I had with UCFS dental - Norwich. Every interaction was supportive, respectful and met my needs in a timely manor. Staff was warm and friendly from the phone to in person!
Making an appointment over the phone was easy. There was a bit of a wait time to be seen, which is to be expected. Very kind individual! I was informed that same day emergency visits were available in the meantime if I come early in the morning, and am willing to wait for an opening. I did end up needing to do this due to an infection. Dr. Brown was compassionate, thorough, and sensitive to my needs as a neurodivergent person, which is an important factor in my care.
I left with a comprehensive care plan and confidence in my decision to be seen at UCFS. I was extremely nervous, as I carry Husky insurance, have limited dental care options, and I suffer from profound anxiety as a result of AuDHD and OCD.
My subsequent cleaning was equally pleasant. I never thought I'd say this, but I look forward to completing the rest of my care plan with Dr. Brown once my dental surgery is complete next month.
This was above and beyond anything I expected. If you have Husky Insurance, anxiety around dentistry, are neurodivergent or just want compassionate care and to be treated with respect - this is the...
Read moreAt first they were great, but when it came to anything I needed for my son's school (authorization form faxed) it took 4 days for them to send it even with me staying on top of it and calling multiple times, my sons prescription they told me one thing on the phone, then instead put an appointment down on file and said I was a no show and I had to fight to get it filled, almost running out of his meds. Now with trying to get his medical records sent to a new pediatrician because I refuse UCFS service they're giving the run around. I'm aware that legally there's a 30 day window but when both myself and the new pediatrician call to find out a timeline and no one in this office can have the decency to even let someone know, it's infuriating. Do not go here when it comes to your children, it should not take almost 4 days to find out what's going on with a prescription, and an appointment should NOT be made without your knowledge just to be listed as a no show. My son almost didn't have his needed medication despite myself AND the pharmacy trying to find out what's going on. Do not go here, your children deserve better. Of I could give zero...
