I went to Verizon in Norwich next to shop rite yesterday (8-31-2018). I went with my daughter and her girlfriend. I needed an upgrade for me and wanted to add a line (third phone) for my daughters girl. While me and my daughter go to look at phones the kid that was talking with us tells her girl, there’s apps that are secret so she can’t look in your phone! She (me) is gonna be “all in your phone”! Make sure you lock it! Seriously kid!?? Smh!! It was the young boy, tall, slim, looks Spanish or mixed, shaved head on sides and curls on top. I knew from the start I wasn’t buying my phone from him cause his service was absolutely horrible! He gets up to move to another computer and don’t even say anything until way after the fact he says oh we’re moving. Ok. Lol I was still going to get a third line with them yesterday even though he sucked. Let me say to this little boy, they have each other’s thumb print in each other’s phones, not everyone is a scum bag, and not every relationship has no trust! Maybe that’s how you do things, not everyone! Had I known you said that while we were there, you would of had an issue on your hands! Needless to say they had no iPhone X in stock anyway cause “nobody wants em anymore”. The new one is coming out even though he couldn’t tell us anything about when he could have a phone in or anything about the new one. I was fed up by that point. We all drove to Verizon in the crystal mall. Awesome service there like always! We ended up buying her the iPhone X that she wanted and my iPhone 8 Plus! I will be on the phone with whoever will listen including BBB cause this was beyond bad customer service! This was crossing the line telling someone with their significant other how to hide cheating! Unbelievable! This kid should NOT be working with the public! I’m beyond upset over this! Now, this kid that will take simple conversation to a whole new level when it’s not even on that subject has FULL access to all of my information! My social, MasterCard that’s on file and so on! I’m extremely nervous with someone like that having all my info! I will make sure I take the proper steps to ensure my safety with his inappropriate behavior! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! Definitely not to someone looking to buy a new phone! It’s absolutely horrible. Not welcoming at all! Take the 15-20 min drive to crystal mall Verizon! Trust me, I’ve never had bad service there! I’ve been to the one in Norwich to pay my bill as well and bad service! They are just all around bad! Read moreI stopped into this Verizon store to see what kind of deals they had for an upgrade. I started dealing with Tri who was very knowledgeable and offered me many different plan options that would be comprable to what I currently had. I ended up getting the new Galaxy S21 Ultra. I then finished the process with Kim who is relatively new but absolutely knew what she was doing and was very confident while doing it. Needless to say I left very satisfied. I happened to go home and almost immediately afterwards my new phone started to act up and the screen went blank and would not charge. I called the store and Kim immediately told me to come back so she could assist me. When I returned she went above and beyond trying to figure out what went wrong. She called other stores for a replacement and exhausted all options before giving me the news that I sadly would have to wait until Friday for a replacement. I wasn't happy but I knew she had done absolutely everything she could possibly do. I was given my old phone back so I wasn't without a phone until Friday which ended up being fine. Next morning I received a call from Kim saying my new phone had been fixed and I could pick it up anytime. I was more than excited and anxious to see what the problem was. I came in after work and she explained it was a fluke that happened because my battery was too low when I tried the new software update. Overall I am MORE than satisfied with the service I received from Kim and Tri even with all of the hiccups I will be recommending this store to others. I hope the next time I upgrade a phone they will be there so I can have the pleasure of doing business...
Read moreKim at the TCC in Norwich has been the most helpful Verizon employee that I have had the pleasure to work with - she doesn’t rush the person she is working with to help the next person who comes in. Kim takes the time to greet the new patron and lets them know she will be with them as soon as she can. She has helped with my phone and my daughters she explains everything and takes the time to make you feel comfortable with anything you need with your phone and makes sure you have no hidden surprises when it comes to the bill. It’s very rare to have that type of customer service and you have two employees at one location that will take the time and care for your customers. It’s why I will always come back here. Marvin and Kim are excellent employees and the reason I remain a loyal customer to Verizon. Marvin has always helped with the phones I have gotten for my boys and again great customer service skills. Their knowledge of your products and programs is outstanding....
