I love this Ulta! I went in today because I needed a new deep conditioning mask for my hair. I have very long hair, past my butt long, and my ends always get dry but wasn't sure what to get. I always go for Redken products, I use the extreme length line usually but needed more moisture and repair. One of the very kind girlies from the Salon came over and asked if I needed any help, Samantha, and I explained what I was looking for along with a brief history of my hair and products I currently use. She knew immediately what my hair needed and walked me over to the Redken ABC line and recommended the ABC leave in treatment and the ABC 5-min liquid mask. She was very knowledgable and explained to me why these products would work best for truly strengthening my hair and helping with the dryness. Thank you so much Samantha! You are so sweet & I love your aesthetic, me and my hair truly appreciate you!!!

This Ulta is also very clean and organized, I needed to pick up some more body wash and they had an amazing selection of the Method line. I admit I did smell all of them to find myself a new scent.

I love this store, it has lots of products I like, and staff is very friendly. I have gone to other Ulta stores, and in some stores I have seen security guards. And lots of products are not on display. Not at this store. Today, May first, one hour before store closed, I saw three teenagers stealing merchandise. They had Target bags. When I was closed to them at the store they moved away but kept close to items they liked. Hard to see what they were doing. Staff never checked on them either. I did see what they bought. We left after they left. Once they were outside, the store they openly took what they stole and distributed products within them. Moreover, by the hair styling products, a woman with a big purse was stealing a flat iron. She pretended to check box and then the box disappeared. She saw me and quickly moved away from me. I do not live in this area and I do not understand why this store does not have a security guard. Or at list staff should be, checking on customers, so they know they are being watch. I am dissatisfied, that because store is in Marin, there is more trust that customers will not steal...

Got a haircut here on 10/13. I booked with Lori and honestly the whole appointment was a little odd to me. First she made awkward comments about the Hispanic Heritage Month music playing and it being weird, then she cut a huge chunk out of the front left side part of my hair and panicked saying “that was really short but it just didn’t blend. I needed to blend it” and just kept rambling on about it which obviously let me know it was too short. Both sides of my hair are different lengths now. My bangs were cut too short but that’s fine they grow fast. Just wish the rest of my hair hadn’t been cut so Willy Nilly. About halfway through the haircut Lori calls over the Benefit Brow girl and tries to upsell me on brow services that I don’t want. Super awkward. Will not be returning over all sadly. Was really hoping for a more affordable haircut in the Bay Area but I learned my lesson on this one. The girls at the checkout area, however, were...
