This place is great! When I walked in this place for the first place I was impressed by how clean and organized it was. I spent most of the time saying "oh that's cool" as I saw toy after toy from my childhood surrounding me. I could spend close to an hour just looking at the wide selection of toys and collectables available. Also the owner was nice, not overly helpful but not overly standoffish. I really had a great time. The ONLY negative is items are a bit overpriced. If you compare prices to what you can get on eBay you clearly see how things are over priced. Id really like to come back here but I just can't justify it when I can get items in the original box unopened for less than opeaned incomplete items for sale at NerdOut. I hope this changes. For several years I've been contemplating opening a modern action figure store aimed at collectors but haven't done it. Today I found out that I don't need to because Nerd Out has created my dream store. This is an amazing place that covers all types of action figures. They carry the new adult collector stuff like Neca and ReAction, indie stuff like Vitruvian Hacksand The Kingdom, retro figures of all kinds and some modern standard action figures. They have stuff that's loose and in the package, stuff that's common and rare and even some miscellaneous toy related things like video games. Excellent shop! It's not about the trip down nostalgia road. That's naturally accomplished by a toy store. What separates this shop from the competition is the organization, cleanliness, welcoming atmosphere, and expertise/knowledge/passion from the owner. While it's easy to get lost in the nostalgia of all the toys ranging from penny-sized Transformers to two foot tall Godzillas, the reason you'll return to this store versus the competition is the nuances mentioned above that's missing at other local shops.
