Korner Oakland — Local services in Oakland

I’ve had the pleasure of stopping by Korner Oakland multiple times and its only been a month since they opened their doors to their new concept. What’s making the visits so easy and exciting is their community kitchen model. Not only does it serve the public through a carousel of the newest food brands and vendors, but it helps new entrepreneurs shine by giving them a platform kitchen. Since their opening I was already lucky enough to enjoy Fish and Bonez brunch items, Magnolia Mini Mart cookies, Bad Walters Ice cream, Noodle Belly noodz, Full Belly lemon cake (my fave!) and there are so many more new food vendors in line I can’t wait to stop by again. A true hidden gem, where you have to walk down a inconspicuous hallway in order to reach a welcoming venue with a variety of delicious food, drinks, and of course a unique atmosphere.

The food at most of the vendors takes a while to prepare, but the wage is truly worth it has all of these vendors are family owned cooks I’ve been mastering their craft for years.

Notably the place, is also surprisingly safe.

A true gem. Food and drinks were great. Came on a Thursday 5-630 and it was pretty light, but they were just getting started. I really feel like this place was pretty exceptional. We went to Jos Modern Thai recently and I would say this was comparable in terms of quality of food and drink (but not as wide a selection) and it was less than half the price.
