I went to the drive-through to pick up my Prescription. The worker aggressively asked for my name and date of birth, which automatically was off putting to me. There was no Hi! How are you doing? How can I assist you today?
I told the lady at the window that I had a prescription card from my employer, and I wanted to see if it worked. She told me Immediately, before I could even finish my sentence “you’ll have to come inside to the pharmacy counter”. I didn’t mind that’s fine, but what I did mind is the way in which she spoke to me. I felt rushed & like I was a problem. But I know I wasn’t. She may have been overwhelmed with the day.
I park and go inside to find a lady in about her 70’s picking her order up with Brandon at the counter. He gives her the prices & she asks about the price. He aggressively tells her to step to the side that he couldn’t assist. She asked one final question & again aggressively & rudely says “step to the side because there are other people I need to help behind you. “
It really wasn’t like they were helping anyone. They were more demanding , commanding, aggressive, and being rude versus helping anyone. The lady stepped To the side and at that moment I knew I was never coming back to this location ever again. It wasn’t just me they were treating poorly. It was everybody.
I stepped up so Brandon could assist and he did the same thing the lady at the window did. No greeting just name and birthday in such an aggressive I don’t give a crap about you or this job tone.
I gave him my name, date of birth and mentioned my prescription card in which again he told me in the same tone “I can’t help step to the side “ I asked him how I would go about getting my prescriptions to a different location and he said “just call the pharmacy” . It’s just the way they were saying things. It’s not what they said but the way they said it.
I overheard the older lady at the other counter saying now she’s all confused. I would have been too with how Brandon talked to her. It wasn’t pleasant at all.
I told Brandon “you know you’re the second person I’ve dealt with in less than 6 mins and you guys are pretty rude here. He said nothing . No “sorry you feel that way” nothing. He just looked at his screen. He handed me my medication. I said “thanks Brandon have a great day” and he says “mmmhmmm” ….not once did he feel compelled to correct himself or anpologize for the inconvenience or rudeness in our interaction.
Thanks for the service your provide I got my medication but to go through those interactions, was disappointing.
I don’t recommend picking up your prescriptions here. We are all coming in for different things. It’s not like picking up a prescription for something is pleasant. Go where you are celebrated, not where you...
Read moremy wife and I need flu shots and in the process of setting up two appointments for the next day a message was displayed that said walk-ins welcome anytime. after completing appointments for the next day my wife and I decided why not just drive on over and get the shots taken care of. as soon as we were helped we were told that they don't do walk-ins, except for Thursday Friday and Saturday. I explained that the app told us walk-ins were welcome anytime. they informed me that they're the busiest CVS location in the Dayton area and therefore they do not support walk-ins except for Thursday Friday and Saturday. clearly CVS needs to as a minimum update their app so that locations that decide on their own not to do walk-ins would be eliminated from the...
Read moreFirst time using this cvs, I came here and they gave me one of the medications and failed to tell me the other one they didn’t have in stock. I got home and realized there wasn’t two, I called and the person was nice and apologized. She called over to another cvs pharmacy where I can get the medication they were out of. But more importantly, the pharmacy tech dropped the f bomb while I was standing at the counter and the pharmacist called her out but she denied it, saying, “I didn’t say that after her boss said wow did you just say that?” Not very...
