While the course is nice, the customer service (or lack of) is horrendous and unacceptable. My family and I were in the middle of playing golf and between hole 14/15 when the staff notified us that they are closed and we have to leave.
It was a busy evening and we patiently waited the golfers ahead of us at each hole until it was our turn. There were other golfers on the course behind us and they were also asked to forfeit the rest of their game. At no point were we offered a partial refund or raincheck to come back and finish where we left off. Not a voucher or discount to apply towards a future visit! No mention about our score cards and hole-in-ones that qualified for future discounts!
At the counter when returning the golf clubs and balls, another family expressed their frustration of leaving mid-game, despite prepaying for 18 holes. A woman behind the counter sternly informed a gentleman that they "told him" when he paid. He told her that no one made him aware that golfers are expected to leave despite NOT being finsihed by 11:00pm. Otherwise, he could have elected not to golf there at that time. I chimed in and told her the same thing and she still claimed that we were informed. Her solution was for us to leave and never come back.
Try explaining to your children why we can't finish the game. Yes, dad just spent a ton of money and wants to give you joyful experiences to remember while on vacation...but beware of Karen's who work at...
Read moreThe two men working the mini gulf on 139th street are very rude and uncalled for. When we first got there the guy at the register was rude. He is the one that has a long orange beard. We asked about the score card and he replied, “I sat it on the counter but you haven’t taken it.” When we went to pay for the second game he said “just give me $15”! We blew that off and went to play a fun game of mini gulf. After we were finished my 2 year old daughter had to use the bathroom, my boyfriend asked if they had a bathroom and the worker said that the bathrooms were locked and they didn’t have to clean them. I continued to walk to the bathroom and they were unlocked and clean. They continued to shout at my boyfriend, his two younger brothers, and 9 year old sister. The workers were shouting for them to leave and using language. We had a great time, loved the course; however the two gentlemen at the front ruined the whole night by telling us that my two year old daughter could not use the bathroom because it was locked and clearly it was not. This was not a good experience with the people working this...
Read moreDont support this mini golf place! Workers are extremely rude and the business is a scam. There are so many other mini golf places in the area to choose from that dont have such terrible customer service. The grouchy women at the front desk was yelling at people to wear a mask in the clubhouse. Some people decided not to go through the clubhouse and walk around to the first hole. Nope, not okay either. She yelled at them for doing that as well. The group tried to go through the clubhouse but only had a hoodie and were using that as a face covering. Nope still not good enough. Important to note, the state mandate calls for a face covering not a face mask. The party asked for a refund because not everyone in their party could play due to not having a mask that met the ladies standards. They were then denied a refund because the business doesnt issue refunds. What business cant issue a refund??? Such a scam. Save your money and avoid the headache, there are plenty other mini golf places that aren't so rude and ridiculous about their mask policy. The workers here are flat out...
